Rain falling, the sound of it colliding on the ground, and the flashing lights of cars. David swerves between cars in the darkness of the night, going left, right. HONKKKK, the sound of cars as David swerved around in desperate efforts to save the one girl he loves. All he could think about was her, the one girl he loved, everyone had high school sweethearts well to David, Alyssa was his middle school sweetheart. They went through thick and thin but all those tears from their break up all came back. The tiny thought of just giving up letting her go entered David's mind as he slowly let go of the gas. That shroud of doubt crossed his mind. He forgot about the girl he loved and only thought about the girl who left him in a ditch who gave him hope to take it away. As the number on the speedometer dropped, a tear of pain fell down his cheek with the rain, the tear was hidden. The thoughts of giving up of letting her go letting Sean win crossed his mind and the speedometer rapidly dropped now, tears fell down his face.
