I had to write a sonnet for my English class, I had never written one before and was completely confused when I started out. But now its done and I got a 100% so now I will let you enjoy my sonnet.
*****

The feel of cold water splashes my face,

Time goes by. Try to do my coaches whim.

Breath in, fast strokes got to finish the race

Quickly turn, last push I go for the win!

The rushing current sooths my body

Peaceful Melody of the sea

In a bathing suit I'm such a hotty!

A gentle breeze from ocean waves cool me.

Midsummer heat best to beat at the beach.

Meet old friends and we all go for a run,

Though the sand dunes to waters edge we reach.

Splash in! Water beckons for joy and fun.

I enjoy the water of the deep blue,

As long as I am with the best of you.
