falling in love had always been such an exciting thought for you. or perhaps you just romanticized it a bit too much. it wouldn't have been a lie if you had said that you didn't wish on ever shooting star, every dandelion, every birthday, every 11:11 or on every other thing you could wish on for love.

..you were definitely the hopeless romantic.. but ultimately through out high school and the first year uni.. you never really clicked with anyone enough to actually fall in love. so when you met.. him. you didn't know you were in love.. until you had fallen so deep into the hole, that there was no way you could climb back out.

a soft pillow collided with your face, and fell into your lap, almost spilling your drink. "hey! what the hell?" you grumbled, brushing the strands of hair that fell onto your face. you looked up making eye contact with oikawa's brown eyes, he was pouting.

"(nickname)-chan~! you aren't helping me with my assignments~!" the brunette whined from beside you, laying down on the ground in boredom. "imagine being twenty and still not knowing how to do your own assignments." you teased, sticking your tongue out, before turning your attention back to your own assignment, in hopes of finishing it.

however, oikawa simply threw another pillow at your face, in response. irking you, when the cup of (fav juice) almost spilled onto your laptop.  "oikawa tooru." you began, taking ahold of both pillows. "you better run." you spoke, as oikawa quickly scrambled onto his feet and rushed out the door. his laughter erupting as you, followed after him, with two pillows in your hand.

of course you were no match for a volleyball player, and even if you were to throw the pillow, he would probably dodge as it was practically nothing compared to a soaring volleyball. he made you chase him around the sofa a couple times, as your face of annoyance soon turned into one of laughter.

"wah! iwa-chan! save me! im being chased by a demon!" oikawa yelled dramatically, running behind the stoic male, who simply sighed in annoyance. "you better not get involved, hajime!" you yelled as oikawa ran in circles around iwaizumi.. and you being the simpleton you were.. simply chased him.

and in between all this chaos, stood iwa-chan, who took a deep breath. ever since, oikawa and himself had bumped into you.. in high school during their second year, he's gotten rather used to this, and perhaps he's even grown fond of it, although he would never actually admit to that. he entered high school with one dumb best friend.. and left high school with two.

"oikawa tooru. (last name)(first name). if you both don't stop, i will kick you out of my apartment. do i run a day care or what?" iwa-chan sternly spoke, rubbing his temples as the both of you halted almost immediately. "but iwa-chan i'm your roomate." oikawa pouted, as you bumped into his back.

"and i'm your always welcomed guest and beloved friend." you mocked, mimicking oikawa's pout, which earned yourself a kick to the shin from the pouting brunette beside you. "i, sometimes wonder how the both of you got into college." he grumbled, genuinely wondering if he should ask your parents for daycare fee.

"i wonder that sometimes too." you replied, a simple smile on your face. "me too!" oikawa joined in, only adding to iwa-chans stress. "okay but iwa's neighbourhood friendly daycare does have a ring to it." oikawa added after a moment of thinking in the silence.

"i like happy hajime's happy daycare more." you responded, however iwaizumi already used to your antics, ignored the both of your comments, and shifted his gaze to you: "(name), are you planning on going home?" he asked, his tone turning much softer.

you frowned. in all honesty, you hated returning to your apartment. it felt empty and eerily quiet, and often times the loneliness got to you and your thoughts. while you didn't live far from the boys, you still much rather enjoyed their company than staying all by yourself. the boys noticed your frown, and locked eyes with each other.

"i'll take the sofa~!" oikawa spoke, grabbing the pillows from your hand and plopping them down on the sofa. "grab some clothes from my room, and you can sleep in oikawa's room." iwaizumi spoke, ruffling your head slightly before making his way into the kitchen. you watched as oikawa followed the stoic male, in attempts to bother him, and smiled brightly at their kindness.

they were always like this. showing you kindness and offering you hospitality. you would hate to admit it, but you'd grown rather fond of them. "hajime, make me some food! i'm starving!"
