"Madam! Magtago po tayo! Sinalakay po tayo ng mga Liguori! Diyos ko po. Wala pa naman sina Master at ang iba."

And as if on cue, we heard a loud gunshot that made me nervous for some reason. Agad akong hinila ni Mariel papasok sa kwarto ko at ni-lock iyon. She is trembling badly like me.

"Madam, huwag muna tayong lumabas dahil wala po dito sina Shigure ngayon. Nasa labas po sila." she smiled to make me calmer but it didn't work. It just made me scared more. Knowing tha no one is guarding us scares me so much.

We flinched when we heard gunshots again. Parang may bomba na ewan. Mariel get a comforter and rolled it around me. She hid me inside the closet and made a hush sign.

"Huwag po kayong lumabas kahit anong mangyari, Madam, ha? Parang mas galit yata ang mga Liguori ngayon kaya dapat ay mag-ingat tayo. Ngayong kasal na kayo ay gagawin ka nilang pain para mapasuko si Master. Teka.. isasara ko na po, ah? Basta huwag po kayong lumabas kahit anong mangyari."

I nodded and held the comforter tightly. "Be careful, Mariel." I whispered.

She smiled and give me a thumbs up. She close the closet and made a little hole for me to see what is happening outside. I keep my mouth silent to help Mariel.

A few minutes later, I heard a loud crash inside my room! Mariel look scared but she just blow a breath and gulped. I covered my mouth when a creepy looking guy approach Mariel with a gun on its hand.

Holy christ, where are you Ven?

"Where is the wife of your Master?" he harshly grip Mariel's hair that made Mariel groaned.

"Wala dito si Madam, manong. Umalis po siya papuntang Europe. Hindi po kasi niya matanggap na kasal na siya ni Master." she said.

The guy suspiciously look at her and look around the room to see if I am here. He looks mad when he found nothing. He pointed the gun on Mariel's head.

"Are you telling the truth? Or not..."

"Nagsasabi po ako nga totoo- ah!"

I bit the comforter to hide my horrified scream. The guy shot Mariel on her right leg. Tears streamed down on Mariels innocent face.

"Nagsasabi nga ako ng totoo! Ano ba!" kinagat niya ang labi at tinitigan ng masama ang lalaki.

"Hmm, I know. Trip lang kitang barilin." he pulled Mariel's hair again and harshly pushed her to the bed. "At trip din kitang patayin. Wala ka namang maitutulong, 'e."

He pointed the gun on Mariel's chest and smirked. But before he could shot Mariel, a gun from nowhere shot him in the head. I gasped when the blood scattered everywhere. It was horrible and disgusting. Mariel get up in the bed, groaning. Shigure-san help her and make her sit in the chair.

"Where is my wife?" a familiar voice asked.

"Nasa closet po, Master.." she groaned.

Ven walk towards the closet and opened it. Worried is evident on his face when he saw me trembling so bad.

"Malysh... come here... no one's gonna hurt you." he reached for my hands and I accept it immediately. He hug me and pat my back. "Are you scared?" he asked.

"Yes.. where have you been, asshole?" I bit my lip to stop it from trembling.

"I'm sorry.. I'm late. Something came up, Malysh. Forgive me, okay?" he kiss my forehead but this time, I did not brush it off. I felt safe when he did that. "Good job for protecting your Mistress, Mariel."

"It is an honor to protect the Mistress, Master." tinulungan siya ni Shigure para makatayo.

"Master.. maybe you should bring the Mistress somewhere safe. Province.." Shigure-san suggested.
