"be honest with me, do you like toge?" laoi asked. laoi came back 4 days ago. her father was okay and would live. now, she and you were at your apartment, chatting while watching netflix with snacks.
"i don't know," you muttered, turning away. "you guys seem very... close," laoi said as she continued, "from what you told me, you went over to his house more than 10 times, he drove you to school and back home when i wasn't here, helped tutor your dumbass and bought gifts for you?!"
you slowly nodded as laoi scoffed. "how dense can you be? he definitely likes you!" you hit laoi's shoulder playfully before saying, "you still haven't confessed to kyo."
"that's a different situation! don't change the topic, miss," laoi said as she poked your shoulder as you laughed. "so do you like him or not?" laoi asked one last time.
you thought carefully before saying, "yes, i do."

it was another ordinary day at school, except that toge was acting stranger than usual.
one incident was when you would ask toge to join you for lunch, which was part of your everyday routine. except that today, toge was very fidgety and a stuttering mess.
a example when was you asked him. "hey toge, wanna eat lunch with me?" toge looked around frantically before exclaiming, "yea-h! sure!" you stared at him curiously ad he stood up, running beside you as the both of you walked to the cafeteria together.
"are you ever gonna confess?" laoi asked you. it wad a free period as the teacher was absent. laoi has been nagging you to confess since you admitted who you like, which was this morning.
"im thinking about it." laoi nodded as she said, "oh c'mon, you only live once, just do it!" you scoffed, tilting your head and asking, "bitch, you literally haven't confessed to kyo yet?" laoi rolled her eyes as you said, "how about this, you confess to kyo, and i'll confess to toge."
laoi thought about it, before smirking, "deal."

you and laoi actually followed the bet. you were in toge's car now as he was driving you back to his place. "do you want food? we can stop by at the convenience store," toge said as he stopped at a red light, turning to you.
"yeah sure," you agreed as toge hummed. toge turned to the left where the convenience shop was. he pulled into the parking lot as you got out of the car. toge then locked the door as both of you walk to the convenience store in silence.
toge opened the door for you as the bell on the door made a 'ding!' sound. you and toge went to the microwave food section as you looked around. you found your favourite food as you picked it up, saying, "i'm gonna get this." toge then took 2 onigiri as he said, "y/n, im paying this time. you payed for ice cream last time."
you nodded as toge sighed. the cashier was a man who was in his 20's. he had blonde hair with a headband on his head. (author le- iykyk) toge placed the food on the checkout counter as the cashier scanned the barcode. "$8.60," the cashier said as he calculated the total. toge took out a $10 note as he handed it to the cashier. the cashier then stored the money in the cash register as he said, "have a good day."
you and toge took the food and said in unison, "thank you!" you and toge then walked to where the microwave was as you and toge heater up your food. as you waited for the food to be ready, you looked around and saw a slushy machine. "woah! they have a slushy machine here!" you exclaimed as you pointed to the slushy machine.
"oh yeah! i haven't seen one of those for so long," toge said. toge waited for the food to be ready as you walked over to the slushy machine. instead of a normal slushy machine where you pay at the cashier, this one you put money in the machine and get to choose the flavour.
the microwave let out a 'ding' sound as toge opened it took the food out quickly, not wanting to burn his hand. toge then took a paper bag from the compartment and placed it inside as he walked over to you.
"i wanna get one? do you?" you asked as you reached in your pocket, taking out your wallet. you took out some change, inserting it to the machine. you took a cup from the compartment and placed it under the machine. you pressed the button as it filled the cup with your favourite flavour. "they don't have the flavour i like, i'll just drink something else," toge pouted as you hummed.
you took the cup as you put the lid on, taking a straw and poking it through the lid. you joyfully took a sip of your drink, smiling softly after. "do you want some?" you asked. you actually asked out of politeness, but he surprised you. he leaned forward and took a sip.
your mouth dropped as you stood frozen. "mhm, this flavour is nice." you looked away as toge tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear and chuckled.
"c'mon let's go."
