The Next Day
The college wanted to give us sometime to getting used to the college so we got today off. I laid on my bed staring at the photos on Instagram.
" Sam! " I yelled while still laying in bed.
" What Connor? " she told me.
" Im bored as a mofo! "
" Call some friends! "
I had an idea of who I wanted to call. I went to my contacts and clicked on Jenn's number.
After 2 rings she picked up.
" Hey Connor! Long time, no speak. " she said in her bubbly tomboy voice.
" Hey Jenn! We have the day off so want to come over and hang out? "
" Sure! Be their in 20 minutes. " she said and hung up.
I jumped off the top bunk, scaring Sam who was cuddling a Pikachu. I laughed at her and grabbed jeans, a t - shirt and a black beanie. I walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. I had a slight quiff and chuckled at it. I walked back out and said, " Hey, Sam, should I try the quiff game? ". She chuckled, " Sure Connor! " I went back to the bathroom, got changed and switched the beanie for a snap back. I went to the room, sat on the bottom bunk, and put my legs on Sams. " I'm bored Connor. Who's coming? " she asked.
" JennXPenn. " " Oh. " She looked down at her phone and got red.
" What's wrong? "
" Nothing! " She stated blandly and too quick.
" Got it. "
" I got to go. Text me when she gets here. " she said and walked out.
Was she jealous? I never thought she liked me.
