about time

chapter 2 : time line

      The twenty eighth of june, the weather was quite good and everything else as well because it was my elder sister 's birthday.
We sat the dinner table and prepared everything for her birthday.
We cart up into deep silence, even though it was a birthday party, we sadly knew what were coming. We started to eat until my father interrupted that beautiful quite silent and asked my sister "so Sana, what are you willing to do now ? Isn't over for you to find a job or to get married at least" . My sister and I were just sitting there eating, we weren't surprised cause of, it almost be our daily talking routine or a conversation that sets with us at every family gathering.
Sana didn't answer or even show interest or bothered about what he said, then my mother 's turn came , she said " don't just set there all silent, your father is right, you've reached your time line, now it's your time to get married, and have a job, you should hurry " .
Again my sister Sana didn't react at all, but as always this conversation makes me think about that"time line " that everybody is talking about , and wondering about are they right or it's just a crappy way of thinking and mentality they have.
          Since we were kinds especially girls we used to hear that girls are meant to marry a guy and have children at her twenties, they make it our only purpose, i am not saying that we shouldn't get married or got a job, i am just saying that there's no time line for such thing. We need to reach our dreams no matter what age, in fact the age is just a number but people give it a value that it doesn't deserve at all.
There is no time line for a person, for a young soul, once you start think that way and want to reach things so fast, those things will disappear so fast as well, so take your time to accomplish and reach your goals and focus on that dream not on how much will take you or the time line.
So here is my question for you, do you think there is a time line for a person to get what they want in life?
