That Slytherin Boy

chapter 6

*Author's note: sorry no posts :< school inspired me to write again and I told my new ela teacher about my story and she loved it!!!

Lia pov 

I quickly walked to the library after the encounter with the gryffindor. I couldn't stop thinking about him and his beautiful wavy short hair, his greenish gold eyes that somewhat resembled the slytherin and gryffindor colors mixed together. It was almost like the two of us were perfect together. I'm such an idiot for not getting his name. Like there are over 200 kids in Hogwarts so what's the chances of us seeing one another again. 

I finally made it to the library and found the book I needed. It was a potions book since I'm so incredibly bad at potions. It's so hard to grasp the idea of it all and also like what would we even need it for? I know our wands might not always work but seriously when will I need a water breathing potion? I had been failing the class for sometime and the professor would turn me into a toad if I failed our next exam, he said so himself. 

I wrote some notes down onto my paper. We had to learn how to make a Veritaserum potion and we had to use it on a volunteer student. It's a pretty dangerous potion since it reveals the takers deepest secret. The professor said since we are kids we wouldn't have that many dark secrets to hide from the class. The potion is protected by the ministry of magic so no one would use it in a dangerous situation but due to the rise of a potential voldemort they wanted to show us how to make it in case of an emergency. 

I could hardly finish writing down the ingredients of the potion without daydreaming of the mysterious man I saw earlier. I do wish to see him again someday. I close off my notes and head off to slytherin dungeons to get some rest for tomorrow's exam. I hop into bed closing my eyes tightly and fall asleep dreaming of that gryffindor boy.
