Seventeen's Star is set to make her acting comeback alongside fellow idol turned actors, Cha Eunwoo and Rowoon!
On December 10th, news outlet Wallflower Daily reported that Star was cast as the female lead in the upcoming romantic drama, "Our Happy Ending" that is set to premiere on KBS next year.
Star is said to be playing the lead female character Ahn Soo-ah. Star has acted in a few dramas before, but this will be the first time Star takes on a lead character role.
This series is said to follow the romantic relationship of Ahn Soo-ah and Kim Jaehyun, confirmed to be played by Eunwoo, and the trials and tribulations they face after Jaehyun's idol debut. Rowoon will be playing Yoo Tae-sung, the best friend of Jaehyun, and fellow childhood friend of Soo-ah. With Soo-ah and Jaehyun growing apart, Tae-sung always seems to be there at the right time for Soo-ah.
Not only have Star and Rowoon acted together before in Extraordinary You (2019), but Star has also acted with Eunwoo in True Beauty (2020).
Not much else has been confirmed about the drama but netizens have already expressed interest in the drama and are anticipating seeing the trio's highly anticipated "perfect" chemistry.
The drama has an expected release date in July of next year!
