Albedos face lit up at the familiar voice calling out to him from the outside of his lab. „I really don't see why you spend so much time up here, it takes so long to come see you" Kaeya chuckled, leaning on a post. „And yet you still make regular visits, I'm flattered."
„Of course I would come to see you, you are my favourite after all" Kaeya approached Albedo, and mentioned his appearance. „You're not wearing your coat? Aren't you be freezing?"
Albedo walked over to a shelf and picked up a yellow flask. „I don't wear my coat in the lab anymore. I have a new potion that I've been testing out, it increases my body temperature so I don't need to worry about lighting so many candles. It's quite easy to make too, I just melt down some scarlet quarts and infuse it with warm seelee dust.. oh sorry, You're probably sick of my ramblings." Albedo set the flask down on the table and looked away.
„No no, I enjoy listening to you." Kaeya replied. And he wasn't lying, Albedo could talk for hours and Kaeya would never get sick of listening to him. „No don't say that Kaeya, you don't need to feel sorry for me." Kaeyas face fell, he walked towards Albedo who was facing away. He grabbed the shorter males shoulders and turned him around, „Albedo. I love listening to you. As a matter of fact, let's go get some stuff to make more of that potion. Right now."
„Alright then, can you get me some scarlet quartz by the frost bearing tree? You can do that can't you? I don't trust you not to scare away the seelees" Albedo sounded pretty excited to get more materials, Kaeya looked over to his desk and noticed scattered pages mainly on seelees. „Albedo, I see you're studying seelees?" Keaya questioned.
„Oh yes, I've been quite interested in them lately, I admire that they can come in different elemental forms, although anemo seelees are most common through most of tevyat. I've been really interested in the pyro seelee near Barbatos' statue by the ruins, as it resides by the anemo archons statue, despite being a pyro being. Although I would love to see an electro seelee as well.. oh sorry, I'm doing it again." Albedo is normally quite reserved when talking to others, but he felt so comfortable around Kaeya. Like he didn't need to hold back on what he wanted to say. Like Kaeya actually cared for what he had to say.
„Albedo, please stop apologising, I'll go get your scarlet quartz okay? Take as much time as you like with the Seelees, I'll come up and see you when I'm done" Kaeya smiled and walked out of the lab. Albedos face was heating up. Of course he was blushing, Kaeya was so kind, the fact that as a captain he has so many duties, but still makes time to hike all of dragonspine just to see Albedo? Not to mention how cold it is up there too.

Kaeya trudged up the mountain to where he agreed to meet Albedo, while trying the catch the scarlet quartz that was spinning around him in a jar. Once succeeding, he was almost at the top. Noticing Albedo, he leant against a pole and watched him. His small frame sitting cross legged, scrawling notes down on his notebook. Kaeya approached him, noticing a couple drawings of the seelees in his notebook. „Aren't you meant to be studying instead of drawing?" Albedo jumped, he had been so focused on the seelee that he had not noticed Kaeya.
„No no, I'm studying it's anatomy. Once I get it all right, I should be able to create one from my drawings, so I won't have to continuously go out to go find them. But I also need to study the seelee courts, as they deserve a resting place. It would be cruel to leave them in the open without somewhere to reside." Albedo stood up, it seemed like he had more to say but he stopped talking for Kaeyas sake.
„Why don't we go back? You got the Scarlet quartz yes?" Albedo grabbed onto Kaeyas hand, tugging him in the direction of the lab. „I'm beginning to get cold again"
Kaeya complied, walking with him back up to the lab.

„This should do it, I just need to let it brew for an hour. Then it'll be right to ferment. I'll be able to use it in 3 hours" Albedo was wearing his coat now as he was cold. „Albedo, if you're cold, why don't you drink some more of that potion?" Kaeya asked.
„I know I have one more flask somewhere, but I can't remember where I left it."
