THAT NIGHT Tabitha didn't sleep. How could she. How could anyone sleep when they find out theyre best friend went missing. The next morning came and the same thing went by, no sleep.

This happened for the entire weekend. Finally when Friday came along Tabitha was awoken by water being poured onto her head. She jolted up, gasping for air. "What the hell?" She exclaimed.

"Its Friday, you're going to be late Tabs." Shane rolled his eyes and walked out of her room with a empty glass in hand. Tabitha sat up in her now soggy comforter and rolled her eyes. As she got out of her twin sized mattress she groaned as her pajamas stuck to her chest. She sighed before stripping clean of the cold clothes to put fresh ones she had folded out on her vanity.

An orange striped sweater and blue jeans. She lifted the clothes looking for an undershirt, asking herself if she remembered to put one out. The ginger pursed her lips into a tight smile when she noticed the white tank nudged in between the jeans and sweater. She pulled the tank top and almost tripped over herself putting her jeans on.

"Shane, where are my shoes?" Tabitha asked, poking her head out of the sweater. "Under your desk like always!" Shane called back. Tabitha stopped and turned to her right and leaned down for her green low top converse.

WHEN TABITHA made her way out of her house she had decided to take the long way to school. That was a terrible idea. Finney and Gwenny had both went their regular way without the ginger. And without the ginger three boys had pushed gwen to the ground and chased Finney down the block until they finally got a hold of him.

Tabitha, of course had no idea this was happening as she walked to school. When she had got to school Donna had grabbed her arm and rushed her into their class.

"What the hell?" Tabitha rubbed her arm once the two were in their seats. "Finney was beat up again." Donna told her. Tabitha immediately stopped what she was doing.

"What?"

"Finney was beat up again. Just before school. His sisters so cool too. She hit one of the boys in the head and he started bleeding. I wish my brother did that for me." Donna placed a hand on her chin.

"One of them? There was three of them right?" Donna nodded. "Those sons of bitches. I'll kill them." Tabitha scoffed. Donna patted her shoulder and faced their teacher while Tabitha stared at the desk in anger.

She them felt someone staring at her and she turned to meet Finneys eyes, the boys eyes widened and he quickly looked away. This made Tabitha smile. Donna tapped the girl on her shoulder once she looked back to the front.

"Go get Finney as your partner." Donna pushed the girl. Tabitha furrowed her eyes as everyone paired up together leaving Finney and her by themselves. "Go." Donna mouthed with a thumbs up. Tabitha rolled her eyes and walked back to Finney.

"Need a partner, Finnlard?" Tabitha raised her eyebrows at the boy in front of her. Finney stared at her, saying nothing before she snapped her fingers in front of his face.

"Uh, yes." He quickly said, immediately shutting his mouth and sitting down. Tabitha smiled as she pulled the chair out and placed down her books.

"I'm sorry." The girl apologized. Finney furrowed his eyebrows, "What?"

"I'm sorry for not walking with you this morning." Tabitha opened her book. Finney shook his head, "No, you shouldn't be sorry."

"Yes, I should have. If I was with you those assholes wouldn't have been able to get to you."

"That's not you're fault." Finney straightened his back. "You don't need to be there to fight for me."

"Finney, they only beat you up because they had the chance. Because Robin is gone and because I wasn't there. I want you to be safe, Finn." Tabitha licked her lips, Finney's lips twitched up at his nickname.

"I don't need a body guard." Finney scoffed.

"I'm not saying that-" Tabitha was cut odd by Finney. "It sounds like it."

Tabitha then cleared her throat, not wanting to continue the conversation. "I still want you to be safe."

THE END of the day came fast, Finney and Gwen left before Tabitha but they knew she'd get there quick. "Tabitha, Tabitha, Tabitha." Gwenny sing-songly teased Finney making kissing noises.

"Stop, she's gonna hear you.", Finney shushed the girl. "Who's gonna hear who?" Tabitha came from behind the two.

"Nothing." Finney answered, a little bit too fast. Gwenny laughed, "Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow."

"Where you headed?" Tabitha voiced Finneys thoughts. "I'm staying over at Susie's tonight. Its Friday so," Gwenny responded.

Finney nodded, "I'll look after dad." Gwenny smiled and hugged Tabitha and waved to Finney as she left. "Hey Finn, wanna stop by the stop and go? I wanna get a new disposable camera." Tabitha asked the boy as they made their way down the street.

"Yeah we can just drop our stuff of at my place." Finney nodded, smiling at the girl.

The walk from the school to Finney's was about five to six minutes, the two of them spent their time talking about nonsense, Finney asked if Tabitha's hair color was real and Tabitha slapped him across the back of his head.

The two of them laughed as they walked down an alley on their way, They turned the corner and slowed as they walked by a black van with the word Abracadabra written in blue print. Suddenly a man dressed in all black walked from behind the van and spilled his groceries.

Tabitha stopped, grabbing onto Finneys arm. "Lets just go around." She whispered, Finney Looked back to the girl and the man with a look that said he wanted to help. Tabitha pulled on his shirt and shook her head. "Finn do not. Let's just go the long way." Tabitha whispered again.

"You need some help?" Finney asked the man who was crouched on the ground. Tabitha slapped a hand on her face, rolling her eyes. The man laughed, picking up a broken egg. "You see that." he tossed the shell to the side.

"would you hand me my hat?" He pointed to the top had on the floor. Finney walked to get it and Tabitha I'm grabbed onto his hand. This is not a good idea. Finney reached down for the hat and gave it to the man. "Yes, sir." He spoke.

"I am a part time magician. Would you like to see a magic trick?" He smiled sickly, Finney looked to Tabitha who shook her head slightly, "Sure." Finney smiled, Tabitha flicked him on his shoulder, still holding onto his hand as he got closer to the van.

"Are those black Balloons in there?" Tabitha asked, squeezing tighter on the boys hand. "Yeah." He opened the van door, pulled out the balloons and grabbed the two of them.

They both kicked and screamed but neither of them dared to let go of each other's hand. "Help!" Tabitha screamed loudly as Finney scratched him with his ship. The three of them screamed, one in pain and the others in fear. Tabitha and Finney screamed louder only to get sprayed in the face with hairspray, stopping their screams and stinging their eyes. The man had pushed the two in the van as they slowly began to loose vision. Letting the Balloons free.
