She wakes up to the music from her phone alarm, it was set to play Firework by Katy Perry at 7:00 am. The song starts soft and light so not to give her a heart attack, then slowly builds up the beat to boost her spirit. She knew the choice was outdated, but she couldn't yet find another song that suits her morning condition.

She brushes her teeth under the lively beat, the glass of water rippling with the rhythm, synchronizing the music in her heart. In the shower she played the water droplets in her hand, making them floating around her like a school of fish.

She practice her power whenever she could, exploring it in every way like it was a new phone. She has grasped the technique of think-and-feel, making water part of her body, rather than ordering it like an instruction.

On the breakfast table she poured cream into her coffee and stirred it without touching. She could only work with water based liquid, and was stirring the coffee instead of the cream. She still has to pour her honey by hand.

She cycles to school unless it rains, it was a forty-five minutes ride, but the morning air and cool wind vitalize her. She wears a backpack that carries everything she needs - homework, snacks and a water bottle. Served in the Middle East, her father taught her to stay hydrate at all time.

Water is your friend. Her father had told her since she was a baby.

Frank Bell has taught her to love the water, the rain, the sea, taught her to swim before she could read the alphabet. Looking back now, Hailee wondered if her father had some premonition of what she became.

It was also where she learned that she couldn't control water that was sealed up or unseen. She could only assume the water couldn't see or hear her.

Of course, her power comes greatly in the swimming pool. She already knew to work the waves to her advantage, but now with her new power, she could create a tunnel of current that propels her like a jet ski, swimming became so easy that two hours of intense training didn't wear her out, although she kept her secret and let the team keep their pride.
