SEASON ONE

Chapter One: welcome to Coal Valley
In this chapter we are introduced to the Belmont family, when they first arrive in Coal Valley, and what happened in the Ten years they have been there.

Chapter two:  The Flower Shop
In this chapter, it is ten years later and now there are new people in Coal Valley: a teacher and a Mountie and a very cute Mountie at that.

Chapter three: New Friends
In this chapter Millie and Jack meet for the first time, when she is trying to get stock into the flower shop, and they get to know each other over a nice cup of coffee.

Chapter four: The Teacher
In this Chapter Millie finally meets Elizabeth when she goes to the Saloon to meet her twin brother, Eddie for dinner, after both have had a long day. While having a conversation, Millie invites Elizabeth to the flower shop if she is ever in need of some company.

Chapter five: The Power of Women
In this chapter the widows of Coal Valley have been evicted from the houses meant for the families of the miners, to keep their houses, the widows strike a deal with the Mine Boss Henry Gowen, to work in the mines so that they can keep the rights to their house.

Chapter six:  The Silence
In this chapter, Millie helps Elizabeth with the school and meets one of her young students Rosaleen Sullivan, who will not utter a word since the incident in the mine and the Mountie Jake begins his investigation into the church fire.

Chapter seven: Alone in this world
In this chapter, Cat Montgomery is arrested for the church fire. Millie helps Elizabeth look after the three children of Cat Montgomery and while they are doing that, Jack is trying to find evidence that she did not start the fire.

Chapter eight: Envy
In this chapter, new miners make their way to Coal Valley in preparation for the mines grand re-opening. Two of the new miners, Billy Hamilton and Lewis James, takes a special interest in Elizabeth and Millie, leading, both Jack and Eddie to be suspicious of their intentions.

Chapter nine: The Miner's Games
In this Chapter, Coal Valley is abuzz, in regard to the annual 'Miner's Game' as Eddie continues to worry about the budding relationship between Billy and Elizabeth, and Jack worries about the budding relationship between Millie and Lewis. Complications in a residence's pregnancy arise.

Chapter ten: Second Chances
In this chapter, the fantastic four work to repair their friendships, while Elizabeth, with the help of Mille take a special interest in helping one of the students with a learning disability and Eddie helps Abigale with pondering on opening a cafe.

Chapter eleven: Founders Day
In this Chapter, Adam Miller, the only miner to survive the explosion, struggles to adjust to his disability and life back in Coal Valley, while Elizabeth enrols the help of the Belmont twins when she suddenly realises that she is responsible for the production of the annual Coal Valley Founders Day Play.

Chapter twelve: The Surprise Visitor
In this chapter, the relationships between Millie and Jack, as well as Elizabeth and Eddie, take a romantic turn. Just as Jack learns that he has been assigned to a new post and Elizabeth get a surprise when her sister, Julie Thatcher. visits Coal Valley.

Chapter thirteen: Tolliver Gang
In this chapter, Nate, the injured man that Julie found, being in town is dangerous to Coal Valley as the Tolliver Gang descends upon the town. Elizabeth, Julie and Millie are taken hostage and it is up to Jack, Patrick and Eddie to rescue them.

Chapter fourteen: The Return
In this chapter, Millie and Jack deal with the surprise arrival of Jack's ex-fiancé, Rosemary Leveaux. Jack and Eddie continue their investigation of the mine disaster with help of Jacks old friend and former professor, inspector Bill Avery.

Chapter fifteen: Prelude to a Kiss  
In this chapter, Elizabeth has to decide whether or not to accept the new teaching position while she and Eddie continue to sort out their feelings for each other and Bill, Eddie and Jack find damning evidence during their investigation.
