3rd person PoV.
It's been a couple months, that's just about enough time for Tadashi to confess to Kei and that's exactly what he'll do. Tadashi asked Kei if he could come over to his place and thank God Kei let him in. Tadashi's in Kei's room,
'It's clean.' he thought. He saw something.
'Oh, is he a fan of dinosaurs? Cool!' Tadashi's eyes sparkled.
"Do you need anything, Yamaguchi? Anything to talk about?" Kei asked him, patting the empty space beside him on the bed. Tadashi sat down, his face flushed.
"Yeah, uhm... I wanted to talk to you about something." Kei hummed an answer.
'Is it what's been making him nervous these past few months?'
Tadashi took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.
'You can do this, Tadashi. It's fine. You can still be his friend if he rejects you.' Tadashi opened his eyes, getting ready to confess.
"It's something I've been nervous about these past few months. And uhm..."
'Oh, so I was right.' Kei stared at Tadashi.
"And I'm always nervous whenever I think about this so it's been hard trying to tell you this. I- I love you." Kei's eyes widen, snapping out of his thoughts when Tadashi said those 3 words. Tadashi immediately started to regret saying them, though.
"Oh." was all Kei said. Tears are welling in Tadashi's eyes.
"I've been thinking about something." Tadashi flinched, the tip of his ears having a tint of red but also having a feeling of coldness.
"I was debating on the fact if I should or not and for the first time after a while, I felt nervous whenever I think about it, too. Tadashi." Tadashi stiffened at the use of the first name, glancing over at Kei.
"I love you, too." the tears that dried up came back again and slid down Tadashi's cheek. The sight of Kei having a smile on his face that looks very genuine did something to Tadashi's heart. Kei scooted closer and wrapped his arms around Tadashi, Tadashi sobbing in Kei's arms. Tadashi felt the weigh of the world fall off his shoulders as he continued hugging and sobbing in Kei's arms.
