Karan's POV:

Some small arrangements were done for the party, and everyone was dressed up already having fun, but where was Monami. She left my room to get ready 1 hour ago, really, these girls do take a lot of time. I walk out of the party hall and go to outside to message her, where I see Monami's father and Anish walking with their luggage towards the entrance. Now what is this new plan of theirs and where are they going with their luggage.

K: Dr Anish, kaha ja rahe hain aap dono
A: Uncle Mahajan waapis jaa rahe hain aur main bhi academy chod ke Uncle Mahajan ke hospital mein kaam karne jaa raha hoon.

I heard a voice from the side, and it turned out to be Monami. She walked towards us, standing next to me.

M: Aap log gaye nahi abhi tak, aur Karan se kya baate kar rahe hain, maine kaha tha na Karan aur mujhse door rahiye.
K: Monami yeh kya ho raha hain
M: Karan main tumhe baadme batati hoon, first let them leave.
DrM: Monami ek baar phirse soch lo, you will regret it, tumhari choice galat hain
M: Main kuch regret nahi karungi Papa, aur maine apna decision le liye hain.

Monami slides her hand into my hand and holds it tightly, to which I respond equally and hold her hand tightly too.

M: Aur meri choice kitni galat hain, kitni sahi, main janti hoon, I don't need your advice.

Monami's father and Anish walk away with angry faces and leave the academy. I turn to Monami and ask her what was going on.

K: Monami, kya chal raha hain?
M: Karan voh...

FLASHBACK

Author's POV:

Monami was walking back to her room from Karan's room after solving their misunderstandings, when she heard Dr. Mahajan and Anish talking in the dispensary.

A: Issiliye toh maine leg injury ka drama kiya, taki Monami uss Karan se door rahe aur unhe alag karna aur bhi easy ho jaye. Aur issiliye toh aapko bhi bulaya hain, abb main aur aap milke uss Karan ka sab kuch cheen lenge.
DrM: Yes, sab kuch barbad kardenge, Karan toh bahut proud feel karta hain na ki Monami ne khud ke liye stand liya, apne dreams pure kar rahi hain, arre usse kya pata Monami ke har ek step ka karta dharta main hoon, voh kya karti hain, kya sochti hain, sab main decide karti hoon, Monami meri beti hain, voh sirf meri baat manegi, usse apni baat manwa ke, Karan se toh kya, iss academy se hi door le jaunga. Uske life ka kar decision lena sirf mera haq hain.

Monami goes into the room, furious knowing that her father and Anish were planning to seperate her and Karan.

M: No Papa, meri life ke decisions lena sirf mera haq hain, aapka nahi.
DrM: Monami tum yaha?

M: Papa how could you, I trusted you, aap yeh sab sirf issiliye kar rahe hain taki main Karan aur academy se door ho jaun, why Papa, why don't you want me to fulfill my dreams.
DrM: Kyunki main dekh sakta hoon ki what you are doing is wrong, tumhe koi idea nahi ki tum kya kar rahi hoon, tumhare koi dreams hain hi nahi, baas timepass hain yeh, naya shauk, thode waqt ke liye yaha kya rahi, dreams ka bhoot chad gaya hain, waapis chalo life easy ho jayegi.
M: No Papa, main janti hoon mere dreams kya hain, aur abb chahe aap kuch bhi kare, main aapki koi baat nahi sunungi, aap abhi ke abhi yaha se waapis chale jayenge, and you too Anish, maine yeh bhi nahi socha tha ki tum humare friendship ki respect nahi karogi, agar apne Uncle Mahajan jaise ban ne ka itna shauk hain toh jao unke saath, jo karna hain kijiye aap log, but I don't want you both in my life.
A: Monami, please, yeh hum tumhare hi benefit ke liye kar rahe hain, yeh Karan jaise bakwaas commando ko choose karne ke baje tumhe tumhare jaisa doctor tumhare standards ka partner choose karna chahiye.
M: Anish please, Karan ke khilaf ek word bhi nahi, and don't you dare interfere in my life.
DrM: Monami tum galat kar rahi ho, main keh raha hoon na, come with me, chodo yeh academy, Karan, training, waapis aa ke hospital sambhalo, best doctor bano.
M: I will do what I want, aur mujhe mere dreams pure karne hain, aapko beech mein bolne ki zaroorat nahi hain, stay out of it.
DrM: Monami main tumhara papa hoon, mind your langugae.
M: Aur main aapki beti hoon, kabhi aapne mujhe beti mana, nahi, toh main aapko papa kyun manu, please just leave both of you.
DrM: Yeh regret karogi tum, hum toh chale jayenge, but ek din tum khud aaogi rote rote, jab voh Karan aur yeh academy tumhara dil todenge.
M: Mera dil sirf aapne toda hain, aur abb se toh main aapko bhi nahi todne dungi.
