Chapter 2

Y/n stared at everyone around them, everyone seemed pretty psyched up and ready, they all seemed to have gear which will aid them in their quirks, interesting. He watched as two people interacted. "That girl seems to be doing some kind of meditation" Y/n followed to who the guy was talking about, it did seem so. "Why are you here? Hoping to interfere?" That was the same suicidal kid from the sludge monster incident, "I remember..." Y/n mumbled, drawing attention to themselves slightly, questioned faces around them. "Nevermind" 

"AND BEGIN!!!"

 y/n's pov

I copied one of the guy's quirks, engine, and used it to speed off while everyone stood there in slight confusion. "WHAT'S WRONG? THE TEST'S STARTED! RUN! RUN!!" Now everyone is running. I rolled my eyes and started to decay the robots around me, watching as the decay spiked off into different directions and spreading onto the ground where the robots fell, however it didn't reach far. "I might be able to get a few points if I let it all spread, but I could end up harming those around me who are unfortunate enough to end up making contact with the decay, I suppose I'll just have to rely on those around me and use their quirks." I mumbled to myself  and started to run off in a direction where not many people had ran off to. If I were to use my decay on a larger scale, at least not too many people will be injured. I spotted a few low scoring robots and crushed my hand into the ground, the ground decaying and spreading towards where the robots stood, taking them out easily. I smirked, I must have around, what? Maybe 50 points if I've been keeping track correctly. 

Behind me I heard a lot of yelling, screams and people running so I turned and saw the largest fucking robot I have ever fucking seen, it was as tall as the buildings, taller! In fact! "I'm sorry what the fuck-" I backed up a bit until I saw someone jump up in front of me, their arm was glowing... It was that boy being scolded by that serious person right before the exam started, it's that suicidal kid from the sludge incident! He destroyed the zero pointer, knocking it back. I soon noticed a girl who had tripped, he saved the girl. I mimicked the girl's quirk and ran up to the now falling boy and slapped him in the face, he floated, useful quirk she has. "Release!" He fell to the ground softly, no longer floating. "Are you both okay?" I asked, seeing as the girl isn't looking too good and the boy isn't looking too great either with two broken legs and a broken arm. "Yeah... You copied my quirk?" The girl questioned. "Yeah.... I did" I awkwardly replied, it's not something I like talking about, especially to people I don't know. "Just... one... point" I turned to see the boy crawling, trying to go after one of the actually normal sized robots.

"IT'S ALL... OVER!!"

"Thank. Fuck" I felt so relieved that that was over. I made my way to the exit. I was starting to feel light headed towards the end of the exam, it's kind of hard to use my decay quirk for long periods of time. I looked down to my hands, they were slightly decayed themselves, but that's what happens when I use my quirk for long periods of time. I sighed heavily, at least the exam was over. I can now go home and rest like a normal person. I need to get my hands healed up first, I'll do it back at home I guess. 

Once i got home i went straight to my bedroom, ignoring my hands, and went to bed, too tired to deal with anything else at that moment in time.  After a week i finally got my results from the entrance exam. Y/n lived alone however, his best friend's parents would often check by and drop off groceries. Itsuka Kendo was his best friend, she was y/n's only friend. Itsuka's parents had offered for y/n to stay and live with them but y/n wanted to keep the house in memory of what it used to be when he had three siblings and a mother, they were adopted though but they were still family. 

Y/n ran away from the bar, 6 years old and fear written all over their face. Three days it took for a hero had found them and take them to a shelter. That's where y/n found their family.

Y/n held the envelope, breath held for no reason other than anxiety. After ten minutes of staring at it they opened it. A small device had fell out of it and a hologram lit up of All Might. "Hello there y/n l/n!! This is a projection! ...." 

"why in the ever living fuck is All Might in my entrance exam response-"

"You made it to UA! With power, perseverance and style you plummeted through the entrance exam. Well done l/n! We will be sending you your uniform through the mail by tomorrow, good luck and go PLUS ULTRA!" A scoreboard appeared after All Might said his final words.

I couldn't be bothered to look at the rest, staring at my name in first place. Positions don't usually phase me much but for some reason i cried, not sad tears, happy tears. I managed to achieve something despite my quirk and the drawbacks i've had from it, the negativity i've received and the fights i've been in over something i haven't been abe to control. "Thank you" I wasn't thanking anyone in particular, there would've been no one to hear me, but i had to say it. I wiped my eyes and sniffed slightly, i'm being a bit of a baby crying like this over something like this but i didn't care, it meant a lot to me.

It meant an awful lot to me
