Hey sis, how are you? Sorry for not calling you in the past few days. I don't want you to get panic but as you are unaware of, I got into an accident. Jody, I wish you were here. Paps and Ma are off the country in a week so I was thinking if you could come home before i die. I know aunt Belle is taking good care of you there. Oh seriously you should come back home because i need your help. I'll tell you the rest when you get here.

I don't know if you missed me but I do a lot. So, i will book you a flight and call me when you can. Yay!

I stared at my laptop for so many times while I'm on my flight back home. I was mad that he didn't contact me soon. Honestly i got worried when i got his email after weeks of no calls from Skype with him. We had the routine of talking over a Skype so we keep in touch even if I'm away. Five days I had no calls from him. I knew something was wrong until i got this. He's into an accident for god knows how and what he is doing now. He wont tell me whats the reason why he wants me to go home but i felt guilty that I wasn't there when he needs me. So I immediately book a flight the next day. And here i am.

I pick up my luggage and started to walk. People are in a hurry to catch their flight. Some are leaving and some are relieved to be on their feet again.

I remember the time I was leaving. I was on my sophomore years back then. It was an agony being away on what I used to live on my daily life. I left behind all the things I loved buy I did not regret my decision. It was for the best, i guess. Two years, I stayed with my aunt Belle. She's my dad younger sister. Gosh she's tough one and stubborn just like my dad. Though she's one of the family member I get along with. Of course she's the only sister dad ever has. In those years of living with her across state, I've learned a lot from her.

A honk of a car from my side startled me. I didn't know how long i wandered around familiarizing the surroundings i used to have in my memory.

"Ms.?" A guy get out of his car and walk towards me.

"Yes," I said. It came out of my mouth like a question.

"I'm here to pick you. I'm Vince by the way." He said with a warm smile on his face. He has a black hair, brown eyes and tan skin complexion. He's like a Italian or Spanish model screaming vibe in his looks.

"I'm Jody." I smiled and held his hand to shake.

Damn he's hot and well build. A kind of guy that spend hours working out.

"My friend Jake asked me to come here and if i don't comply my entire linage is on stake," he explained.

I cant help to laugh but i try to hold it back. Imagining in my head the old Jake I grew up with. "Though i don't mind if i get to pick a beautiful lady like you." he sent me a wink before he extended his hand to get my luggage.

"Sounds like nothing has changed." I muttered. What's up with my brother and his choices of friends?

I'm afraid my brother is the definition of 'same feathers flocks together'. And based from his reputation of being a player maybe this Vince is also one of those guy that screamed flirt alert.

He put my luggage in the back and returned to open my door.

Wow chivalry isn't dead! How flattering.

"Come on beauty, lets get out here."
