Too Much...

Darius' POV:

I looked down at my phone horrified. Dr. Wu was getting dinosaur samples from the island. I had already texted everyone about it. I didn't know what we were going to do.

Imnotgay- WHAT!? Darius your joking right?

Hesindenial- I'm not, what do we do!?

Bestgirlfriend- Should we go back?

Hesindenial- Yaz, are you sure that's a good idea?

Kenjikon- Maybe we should, no one else will stop them.

Superstar- I'm already on my way to new York.

Hasthebestgirlfriend- I'm packing!! See you all there! 🥰

I blinked at my phone in confusion. Kenji bursted through my room doors confused and terrified.

"Are we going back!?" He asked nervously. I shrugged as he left probably waiting for Ben to arrive. I wasn't very phased by any of this yet. I didn't understand why. Someone opened the door, and I guessed it was Ben.

"Well shit." I said to myself, everyone was coming here because of something I saw online. At this point they were probably just looking for a reason to come over with everyone else.

"Darius?" Ben knocked on my door, atleast someone knocks. I thought to myself.

"Yeah, I'm in here Hi Ben." Ben opened the door, he had his usual bandana on, with a short sleeved shirt on that showed his small scars on his arms and some dark jeans on.

"Hi, you alright?" He sat on my bed next to me. I laughed a little and nodded.

Ben visited regularly now, and the others arrived about 2 or 3 days later and stayed at my house. We all agreed that it was probably not real and that we shouldn't engage.

"Yeah, I saw it online so I doubt that it's real, I don't actually know why everyone is coming over." I laughed nervously, Ben nodded in agreement and sighed.

"Everyone is probably just looking for a reason to come here." I chuckled slightly and nodded. He wasn't wrong, he hadn't visited in a few weeks because of school and he lived fairly far away from my house. The only person I saw since Isla Nublar was Kenji.

"Hey, I missed you." He smiled widely and hugged me tightly. It was almost like he had wanted to hug me for so long. I hugged him back smiling as well.

Sammy and Yaz came back earlier and Brooklynn took a little longer to come back here. Yaz had moved to Texas with Sammy after a little bit of consideration with her mom. It was the second day of them all being over, Ben used to sleep in the living room but we all thought it was better if he slept in my room tonight.

"So are we all sure it's not real?" Brooklyn asked, we nodded. The others gaze turned to me like I was supposed to say something. Why was I the one who always had to conclude it? I was the youngest.

"Yeah, it's online so probably fake news." I huffed as they all turned away some of them starting to eat they're waffles that I made for them.

"Your good at cooking." Ben blurted out of no where, I heard Sammy giggle a little nudging Yaz. They probably talked about something earlier or something.

"Oh, uh thanks." I said smiling to myself, Kenji always thought it was weird on how much I knew how to cook. Ben is better than Kenji anyways.

Everyone was settling down, Brooklyn was with Kenji, Yaz and Sammy were in the living room and I was hanging out with Ben in my room showing him things on my computer.

"So that's a Stegosaurus?" He questioned looking at the big Dinosaur on the screen. I laughed and nodded.

"Yes, that is a Stegosaurus." I laughed, he huffed. I was quizzing him on dinosaurs he was pretty nervous about it for some reason like he NEEDED to impress me, or... RING I heard the phone ring.

"I'll get it!" I shouted from my room.

"One second Ben." I said getting up, he smiled at me and sat into the chair I had just sat in. I picked up the phone and heard a very deep voice almost like...

"Hello, is this Darius Bowman?" The man asked on the other line of the phone.

"Yes." I was told to not say just yes but 'yes this is he' but I didn't feel like doing that.

"Hello, I'm a worker at Biosyn and I was told to ask the Nublar 6 to get a Herbivore sample from Isa Nublar, you will not be alone on the island. We were informed that the other 5 we're at you house." I heard sank, and I started to tremble. The phone shook back and forth.

"I- I'll call you back." He tried to tell me not to but I slammed the phone down.

"YOU GUYS COME DOWN HERE!!!" I called out to the others. I stumbled over to the dining table and sat down holding my head.

"What's wrong!?" Sammy asked nervously, and sat in front of me. Yaz kept standing as Ben ran into the dining room.

"What happened!?" He skurried over to the table and sat next to me. Brooklyn and Kenji came into the dining room looking less nervous than the others.

"What's happening?" Kenji asked tiredly, I breath heavily. Ben placed his hand on my back, I glanced at him. He was giving me a comforting smile. My stomach churned, I pushed the feeling down and took a deep breath.

"Biosyn called, they want all of us to go back to Isla Nublar for a Herbivore sample." I guessed everyone's heart sank because they just stared at me like I was going to finish a joke.

"Your not joking?" Brooklyn covered her mouth in shock. I shut my eyes tightly and nodded. I opened my eyes seeing everyone terrified.

"Just listen, if we pretend to get them maybe we can stop them from making more dinosaurs!" I reasoned, Yaz got off of the wall she was leaning on.

"Or they could be tricking us!" Yaz fairly argued. I huffed and looked down at the table.

"I just thought that maybe we could save the Dinosaurs." I felt tears form in my eyes. Yaz groaned and walked over to the table.

"As long as we're not going alone we'll be fine right guys?" Yaz tried to lighten the mood. It definitely worked because Brooklyn nodded and smiled.

"Yeah! We got this we're the Camp Fam!!" She shouted happily. I couldn't help but smile too. Everyone started to talk about it while I sat there. I heavily sighed and stood up to call the person back.

I had told the person and we were set up to go sometime next week, I was nervous. I didn't know how this would go. I wasn't nervous before, why am I so nervous?
