Laura and Buneary! New Journey!

Hey everyone, LexyXLaura here, bringing you another chapter of Pokemon Silver Sun. Before we begin, we’re still taking up spots for the Pokedex. Once the gen 9 region releases with all the information, I’ll think about making a fanfic series of it for Lexy and Laura. Also, once this chapter is released, I’ll be revealing the next five nutshell names, which is gonna be very exciting. Without further ado, onto the chapter.

Our heroes are continuing their stay for the moment, but plan to leave soon. Lets see what they’re up to.

“Lorena, use Thunder Punch!” Lexy called out. “Cinderace, use Pyro Ball!” Laura called out, as Lorena and Cinderace shot their moves towards their opponents. “Machamp, use Brick Break!” Rocky called out, which counterattacked Lorena. “Glaceon, use Swift!” Everest called out, as the stars connected and clashed with the Pyro Ball. “Alright, one more Brick Break!” Rocky called out, as he went towards Lorena. “Use Ice Beam!” Everest called out, which went towards Cinderace. Because of their new items, Brick Break and Ice Beam were much more powerful, which hit the two fire types, taking them out. “And that’s the match!” Rocky called out, which Lexy and Laura returned Lorena and Cinderace into their Pokeballs, before heading to them. “Those items really helped you out there.” Lexy said. “Not to mention that Machoke just evolved into Machamp, which is an absolute powerhouse.” Laura said. “And Ice Beam is much more powerful than normal.” She added, before the four went inside the Pokemon Center to heal their Pokemon.

“So Lexy, got any ideas for the gym leader?” Everest asked curiously. “Not really, but I wanna use Grovyle for the match.” Lexy said, which slightly worried the others. “You do know the gym leader uses Ice type Pokemon, right?” Rocky asked. “Even if that’s the case, I wanna give some attention to Grovyle. I wasn’t able to give them the chance to battle Rockane, since I wanted Lorena and Riolu to battle, and Grass types are weak to poison types.” Lexy explained. “But Grass types are just as weak to Ice types compared to Poison types.” Everest said. “True, but I think Grovyle and I can work on a counter to it.” Lexy said, which made Laura curious. “How so?” Laura asked curiously. “Grovyle can learn Fighting type moves, so we learn fighting type moves, and we should be good on the counter.” Lexy explained. “Well, if you need help with a fighting type move, I’m your guy.” Rocky said. “Hey, thanks.” Lexy said as the two shook hands. “If you need a good Fighting type attack, Grovyle should learn Brick Break, which should be easy, since Machamp has it.” Rocky said. “That’d be great. Either that, or we try to have Grovyle learn Rock Smash or Drain Punch. We’d be happy with either of those moves.” Lexy said, as the two were getting ready to head out, but heard a trainer yelling outside, which the four went to check.

They make it outside and see a trainer who was yelling at their Buneary. “You’re worthless to me! You never win, you never listen, you just aren't worth it!” The trainer said before smashing the Pokeball with their shoe, and walked off, with pieces of the Pokeballs falling off his shoe as he walked off. The Buneary was heart broken and started to cry. Laura felt heart broken, seeing the crying Buneary, and knew what it felt to lose someone close to her. She slowly walked to the Buneary and kneeled down to eye level. “Hey there.” Laura softly said. “I’m guessing from what we saw, your trainer left you.” She added as she slowly and gently put her hand on Buneary’s cheek, which the Buneary couldn’t help but cry, which Laura picked her up and hugged her. “Don’t worry. We can take care of you.” She said as she rubbed the Buneary’s back, and brought her to the others. “Buneary, these are people I’m traveling with. Lexy, Rocky, and Everest.” Laura said, introducing Buneary to the three. “Nice to meet you, Buneary.” Lexy said as he gave her some headpats. “Aren’t you adorable?” Everest said as she booped Buneary's nose, which made it blush and cover its nose cutely. They then went inside to spend some time with the Buneary.
