Without even thinking, you choose Lieutenant Hawk. With a smooth, sultry tone, he says "Howdy! I'm Lieutenant Hawk! I will assist you on your space mission!" His Southern drawl combined well with his sultry voice, and you suddenly understand the appeal of that accent.
You immediately feel calm as he takes your hand and leads you to the Vocabulary Territory.
"We are encountering an asteroid field in the Vocabulary Territory", he says as he shows you how to pilot the spacecraft. His burly arms were gentle but firm as they guided you through the controls. You've never felt so at peace whilst practicing vocabulary, but Lieutenant Hawk has that effect on you.
He still sounded like he was reading a script. You bet that you could get him off of that script, in order to find more about the enigma that was the strapping lad, Lieutenant Hawk. You tuned out his talking about the controls of the spaceship. Yes, it was nice to hear his voice, but you weren't here in order to guide this spaceship through an asteroid field. You were too distracted by his deep brown eyes, which seemingly held secrets behind them.
"Come here often?" you whisper seductively into the space officer's ear, but to no avail. He keeps his eyes locked on the asteroids ahead. You think it must be because his desire to keep you safe through the belt was so large. The silence is oddly comforting and helps the two of you bond as you increase your knowledge of spaceships, vocabulary, and love.
