Liz got startled. She instantly stood up and backed away. "Wh.. what..?" She said with a slightly flushed face. "Take it or leave it!" Miriku shrugged as she slowly floated off the floor a little. Liz stood speechlessly for a few seconds. "Why should I trust you?" She hissed as she backed off slightly. "If I were trustable, what would you choose? Stay here or live happily with me?" Miriku floated closer to Liz as she backed away. Liz thought for awhile.. she looked around, remembering the memories she had here with her mother. She couldn't quite remember her mother's face very well.. it's been years. "Better than starving out here I guess" she mumbled. "Great!" With no hesitation, Miriku grabbed Liz's arm and pulled her spirit out of her body. "What the hell-?" Liz stared down at her lifeless body with horror. "Don't worry, you were gonna die soon anyways! Living with me in the spirit realm is better than the after life y'know" Miriku smiled at Liz's horrified face. She pulled herself closer to Liz. "You're mine now~" she whispered right before zooming into the sky with Liz. Liz held tightly onto miriku's hand. "what the hell are you doing!?" She yelled as she stared back down at earth in fear. Miriku stopped in mid air for a few seconds before diving back down as she giggled. "This never gets old" she took a quick glance at Liz who was screaming. "What the fuck? Are you crazy!?" She yelled and closed her eyes right before they hit the ground. To her suprise, they went right through it!
Liz opened her eyes to find herself sitting on hard grey concrete. Miriku was infront of her crouching down to her level. "Wasn't that fun?" She giggled along with a smile. "Hell no, that was terrifying you psycho!" Liz hissed. "You'll get used to it soon enough" Miriku stood up straight and lended Liz her hand. Liz ignored it and stood up on her own. She looked around at her surroundings, it was a busy city. Liz was stunned by the beauty of the city, it looked almost like the city she lived in but.. like the war never happened. Miriku grabbed Liz's hand. "Stay close, or you might get lost" she pulled her through the crowded sidewalk. Liz felt afraid but it seemed like she had no choice but to obey Miriku. She seemed more scared of the big city than Miriku, afterall, she's been living in an empty isolated city all her life. Everyone here was wearing modern clothing, while Liz was wearing her royal blue worn out cloak, a black tight crop top with no sleeves and leather pants. She felt like she didn't belong here.
Finnally, Miriku stopped at a big white building that had big windows all over the front. She walked in through the glass doors while Liz followed behind, holding tightly onto her hand. Miriku led Liz into the elevator and pressed the button to take them to the 19th floor. It almost instantly opened again. "That was fast..?" Liz followed Miriku out to a big terrace that had many places to sit and relax. "Waiting is for mortal beings, silly!" Miriku said jokingly. Liz looked around the big terrace. "Woah.." she had to admit, she was impressed by this place. Miriku led her to a glass door on the side. She opened it and brought Liz into a big, luxurious apartment. When they first walk in they find the living room with a white couch and a big flat screen tv! Infront of the couch was a birch coffee table that had a little light cyan plant in a white pot on it. And behind the couch was a birch staircase. "This is your new home, darling~" Miriku smiled. Liz was amazed. She didn't notice Miriku calling her darling. "Right, I live with my little brother by the way- he's not home right now though" Miriku seemed a little disappointed. "Oh, I don't mind" Liz replied, still staring in awe at the apartment. "C'mon, let's get you a bath and some new clothes" Miriku took Liz's hand and dashed upstairs. "H-hey! Slow down!" Liz got startled.
Upstairs was a not too long hallway that went both ways. There was a door infront of the staircase and one at each end of the hallway. The hallway was decorated with some plants and pictures of cute puppies and kitties. Miriku took liz to the right side of the hallway and opened the birch door. "This is our room!" She smiled as she walked into a decent sized room with a white king size bed. There were birch bedside table and a blue glowing mushroom lamp on it. There was another birch door that probably led to the bathroom. "Pick out any piece of clothing you want, I'll ready a hot bath for you, you must be cold wearing those!" She pointed to the a birch closet on the opposite side of the bed. "Uhm, okay" Liz replied, nervously as she walked towards the closet and opened it. Miriku trotted off to the bathroom to ready a hot bath for Liz.
A few minutes later, Miriku was downstairs in the kitchen, preparing dinner while liz was changing into a dark grey hoodie and blue jeans. Once she was done, she opened the door and went downstairs. "..Miriku...?" She looked around confused. "Oh, I'm in here!" Miriku poked her head through an open glass door in the living room. Liz took in a whiff of the the air, it smelled delicious. She went over to the door and looked inside. It was a kitchen! It had birch cabinets and a birch counter. On the opposite side was a round birch table with birch chairs and black table mats. she looked at what Miriku was cooking and saw some delicious looking pieces of chicken and on the other stove was some rice. "You must be starving, so I decided to make you somthing! Hope you like chicken!" She smiled as she flipped over the pieces of chicken with a spatula. "How do I repay you.." Liz was really greatful. "Silly, you already have! Don't you remember our deal? You're mine, as in my girlfriend~" Miriku smirked as she gave Liz a little peck on the cheek. Liz had completely forgot about the deal. "O-oh- right-" she blushed at the kiss but shook it off. "You're cute when you're flustered" Miriku smiled as she blushed a little aswell. At these words, Liz had turned into a tomato! "I-I-" she was speechless. Miriku grabbed a plate and put the pieces of chicken on it and placed it on the table. She placed the rice pot right besides it. She grabbed two other plates from one of the cabinets and placed it on both sides of the table. Suddenly, the voice of a boy came from the entrance. "Sister! I'm home!" It was miriku's little brother! "Oh! Welcome home miroko!" She greeted her brother as she poked her head out of the kitchen. "You're just in time for dinner! I made rice and chicken!" Miriku smiled. As miroko walked into the kitchen, he spotted Liz. "Uhm- who's this?" Miroko looked at Liz. She akwardly stared at him. "Oh, this is my girlfriend! Liz!" Miriku said, proudly. "Wow, you actually got a girlfriend-" miroko seemed suprised. "Wait- how do you know my na-" Liz got cut off by Miriku covering her mouth with her hand. "Hussshhh, i have my ways" she slowly took her hand off. She went to get another plate for miroko from the cabinet and placed it on the table. They all sat down and ate while having a nice conversation.
Time pasted by and it was eleven thirty pm. "Ah, look at the time, we should go to bed!" Miriku said as she turned off the tv. Miroko was already asleep in his room. Liz nodded. "Where do I sleep?" She asked, curiously as she got up. Miriku giggled. "With me ofcourse~" Miriku blushed. Liz looked at her with a flustered face. "Like, In the same bed..?" She was bright red. "Don't worry, not like like I'm gonna do anything bad" Miriku shrugged. Liz nodded and followed Miriku to her room. They took turns getting changed in the bathroom. Liz wore cute kitty PJ's and Miriku wore cute bunny PJ's. Liz was sitting in bed and Miriku turned off the lights. The mushroom lamps glowed and gave the room a blue tint. They both layed down and closed their eyes.
Moments later, Liz was fast asleep.. but Miriku couldn't sleep, she was way too flustered at how adorable Liz was. She scooted a little closer to Liz and cuddled her while hoping she wouldn't wake up. She kissed her forehead and smiled. "Adorable.." she said under her breath. Soon enough. She fell asleep aswell.
