"you foolish mug head! Does that look like cleaning to you!? If you weren't the cook I'd tear you in two!" The king said in frustration as he was drenched in water and soap.

Author quickly goes to him to hand him a towel but had accidentally slipped on the soapy water. By mason's quick reflexes he had caught him, but as fate would have it he slipped to.

He flipped their bodies so when they fell mason would hit the floor first without author getting hurt. Author acted quickly and held the back of mason's head as they fell.

"You clumsy mud head!" Mason yelled out"

'hello Author whispers here you must be wondering how we got in this situation.. let me backtrack to 35hours earlier shall I?'

(Continuing from last chapter)

"what a drag"
Mason makes his way twords the mountain, he lights his torch to light his way. He quickly starts climbing the rock as he knows who's life is on the line back at the castle.

All of a sudden some tiny rocks from above start falling scorpions coming out between the holes he was grabbing onto.

Of course like a normal person he was frightened at the sudden change in his small mission.

he attempted to brush off the fallen scorpions that would fall onto him. All around and into his armor

Yet the young king wasn't too frightened he was too pumped up on adrenaline, with haste he keeps climbing, careful not to go too far in the holes that he climbs to help him up

It was a long mountain his fire started to fade, with a big gust of wind the fire was out. Thankfully above the mountain showed a slow coming bright light, he was confused at first but he kept climbing as he had to time to waste of questioning.
When he finally got to the top he lit another torch.

The bright light that was shining to light his way was by then faded by the time he got up, he starts his walk into the cave to look for the hemlock plant

"How could he let himself get hurt like that. Damn idiot" he thought to himself

"How could I have not seen the dagger coming.. he took the hit for me.. Maybe I let the anger and my ego cloud my judgement " he sighs at his thought of realization.

As he walks he finally gets to these two parts of the cave. One goes left and the other right, he had no time for mistakes. He was so desperate for the right way, he attempted listening to his gut in life whenever he tried he was always wrong. Thankfully Until a voice spoke in his mind to choose right.

He was on the fence of listening to voices in his head but went.

Mordred though was panicking, careful not to let Lancelot see it
"Damn it he's not gonna make it is he? I should have went with him anyway he's the king.."

Lancelot said as he paced around, biting on his bottom lip repeatedly. He quickly goes to Author whipping off the sweat off that collected on his face,  gently dabbing the towel

"Lancelot you must have faith in our king. But he does seem to be getting pale.."
Mordred had said what Lancelot fears. He cannot lose another person that's dear to him. He refused.

"What more can I do Mordred? He's becoming unresponsive" Lancelot said as his voice was trembled but turned to worried

As he said that, a messy bloody king mason ran in all out of breath holding up the hemlock plant "I've..." Taking a breath as sweat dropped from basically all over  "got it"
