That day afterschool, I decided not to go to the ocean. I had other plans. I went over it one last time as I climbed the stairway up to the roof. I opened the door and walked over to the railing. This is it. My goodbye. I climbed onto the railing and jumped. My body plummeted to the ground. I closed my eyes, but opened them when I didn't feel the impact. When I did, I saw Yurusareru-kun looking at me. "What the hell was that?!? Humans can't fly!! You could've died!!" Yurusareru-kun exclaimed. I looked down. I saw his legs underneath me. He had caught me just before I hit the ground. "I know I could have died! That's why I jumped." I yelled. "Are you crazy?!?! Why would you want to die??!? I thought you were happy!!" "Reasons." I muttered. "Well, now that I got you, I'm gonna prove to that I am an alien!!!" Yurusareru-kun said as he began running. He ran faster than anyone I ever met. I held onto him for dear life. "Ain't this fun?!?" Yurusareru-kun laughed. Such speed didn't seem to bother him one bit. If this not proving he's an alien, then what is?? The thought horrified me. Then he started slowing down. He stopped at the shore of the ocean. "We're here!!" He shouted then dropped me. "Hey!! What the heck!!" I screamed at him. "Oopsy." Yurusareru-kun said, blushing. I grabbed a handful of water and splashed him in the face. He jumped back in surprised. Then he returned the attack. We kept this up until the sun started setting. "It's time. Quick. Get up on to the shoreline." Yurusareru-kun grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the water. "Alright. It's time. Ready?" He smiled. "Yeah." "Alright, here I go." At that very instant, the sky disappeared and blew open with stars. Yurusareru-kun grabbed my arm and pulled me, but instead into the water, he pulled on top of the water. We were standing on water!! "Cool, huh?!" Yurusareru-kun laughed. "How are you doing this?!?!" I screamed. "It's easy. I just froze time." "What about the sky?" "That's the byproduct of freezing time." "This is so f***ing crazy!!" "Is that a bad thing?" "No. But you can unfreeze time now." "Okay." At that very same instant, the ocean engulfed my body. But I felt a tug on my arm. Before I knew it I was on the shore, in Yurusareru-kun's arms. "Oh hey. I probably should have told you this sooner, but I have no place to stay for the night. Would you mind providing me hospitality?" Yurusareru-kun asked, blushing.
