Summary: "Fiona is focusing on raising her teenager and living a healthy life now that the past is behind her." Something about this sentence in Fiona's bio threw questions at me and I wondered if it could have been related to the situation of her along with her daughter River living alone....Based on an headcanon of mine, this is my input of what could have happened before.

Inside the hall of the hospital sat Fiona McIrish on a chair with her currently nine-year-old daughter, who had her head lied against the shoulder of the mother having her eyes nearly closed. Besides the young girl stood a woman with a stronger body shape wearing a fisher jacket and cargo pants. The woman looked at Fiona, which looked a little tired there from waiting, then the woman rolled her eyes down at the little girl, which opened her eyes again, then looked up at the woman with the bonnet only spotting light-brown eyes and freckles on the woman's face.
"What's your name?" Questioned the adult watching the girl feel a little timid to reveal to the stranger basic info about herself. "You don't have to worry about your father anymore. The police will make sure nothing will happen to you," Said the redhead making the young brunette nod. "My name is Claire. Can I know yours?"
"River...." Responded the brunette girl making Claire smile.
"A beautiful name," Complimented the woman. "You know I'm quite fond of the sea," Mentioned Claire making the girl nod. "When I moved here I didn't expect to be lucky in finding a house right by the beach. I spend most of my free evening down there fishing,"
River nodded at listening to the woman's story. Fiona looked at the woman, who was interacting with her young daughter, and met up with the eyes of the redhead.
"Miss Ursine?" Fiona spoke up earning the attention of the redhead. "I'm very grateful for your help back there at the beach. If it wasn't for your help, I wouldn't be sure if we would have ever gotten out of there,"
"Everything is good. If you need somebody at the process to speak up, you can count on me," Announced Claire making Fiona smile a little relieved at the woman's offer.
A loud clacking on the tile floor aroused the attention of the three women, then they looked up to see a thin woman, dressed as a kitchen cook head in their direction to approach the ginger-haired mother.
"Fiona! You're alright??!?" Exclaimed the brunette woman getting down on her knees to take a look at her best friend. "The Crumplebottoms mentioned me about the incident and I had to come and see, what was up,"
"We're alright for now," Responded Fiona, then watched her friend look down at River, then the woman pecked the little girl on the forehead.
"My little girl, are you alright?" Questioned the brunette woman watching River pass her hand above her forehead to check a possible marking of the woman's lipstick.
"Yes I am, Molly," Answered the child making the adult smile relieved, then watched Claire get up from the chair to hold out her hand.
"I'm Claire Ursine. I happened to be fishing at the beach as I encountered the two,"
"Molly French. I'm Fiona's good friend," Molly introduced herself to the woman. "Thank you for being there,"
A man around the thirty with blonde hair came along with a police agent towards the women, then glimpsed at Molly and Claire.
"You're the McIrish family?" Questioned the doctor making the women nod, then Fiona got up and stepped forward.
"Fiona McIrish," Added the ginger-haired woman, then the policeman exchanged looks with the doctor, which nodded.
