Adjusting

Kate pov

It seemed I'd fallen asleep on my chair while we watched the movie.

When I woke up my back was killing me and Robbie was snoring next to me making me wonder how I even stayed asleep.

When I looked at the clock, it showed that it was barely past 8 am.

I picked up both our plates and washed them in the kitchen.

Picking up my backpack I quickly wrote a note for him saying that I was going home and that he could visit but I might not be home.

I only added the last bit because what I'd do for the rest of today was uncertain.

I left his 'lair' and took out my board when I stood in front of the board.

As a snack I took an apple from my bag deciding to eat in on my way home.

The town looked quite beautiful in the morning, that I knew for a fact, but this early in the morning the mist covered that fact.

Sportacus Pov

I woke up at exactly 8:08 like I always did.

Jumping out of bed, then making my bed, before putting it away with a simple command.

I turned and kicked one of the many buttons on the wall.

This one brought out the table that had all my food.

I hummed not having decided what to eat for this morning.

I wasn't in the mood for bread today.

'Smoothie?'

I nodded my head, "Yeah smoothie," I grabbed my bottle and started adding fruits and milk.

After I added what I wanted I shook it, with flips in between of course.

I took a sip of it and smiled, "Delicious," just then my crystal started beeping, "Someones in trouble," I said worridly.

I put my drink on the table and headed to the door, "Door," I called and it opened for me.

"Skychaser," I called as I jumped off my ship.

3de Pov

Sportacus rode down on his skychaser and jumped off when he was close enough to the ground.

He looked around having problems with spotting where the trouble was because of the mist.

Finally he saw it.

Someone was heading towards a wall not far in front of them.

He quickly flipped over there as fast as he could.

Kate on the other hand was looking behind her having just avoided a wall. 

She laughed breathlessly as she turned her head back to look in front of her.

There was another wall in front of her this one was smaller then the other, but it was to late to avoid it so she braced herself.

The front of her board hit the wall and she went flying forward hands in front of her face.

Time seemed to slow down as she flew through the air.

She was suddenly grabbed by someone, in her panicked state she grabbed them too.

His hand was on the back of her head to protect her from the floor and the other around her waist holding her close to him.

Her hand was also on the back of his head, while the other grabbed onto his shirt.
