CHARLOTTE'S POV:
When I woke up, I was really tired but I just out on some makeup and hoped Leondre wouldn't notice. When I walked in the room, Leondre walked up to me. "Morning princess." He said smiling. "Morning." I said, trying to sound as awake as possible. "Hey Char, you leave for camp in 2 hours." Leondres dad said. Crap. "Thanks." I said as I smiled at him. I went to my room and got ready. I had an hour left to spare so I decided to get a few more minutes of sleep. I set my alarm for 45 minutes. Not much more sleep, but it's some.. I lay down but I can't fall asleep. I lay therefor a few minutes and end up falling into a light and restless sleep. When I wake up, I'm more tired than I was before. I just sighed and re-did my makeup. I grabbed my bags and headed down stairs. There, Leondre and Charlie had their bags packed and Leondre was holding two cold Starbucks coffee's. I look at him confused.
He hands me one if the drinks. "Good news princess. I'm going to go to camp with you." He said smiling. I smile back. I was actually dreading going because he wasn't going to be there. We get in the car and ride to the churches office. It wasn't too far so the ride only took 5 minutes. "Have fun, I'll see ya'll on Sunday. I love you!" He says as we get out of the car with our bags.
We say we love him back and load up our things in the other persons car that we were going to be riding with.
We went to the bathroom and waited while our youth leader took count and made sure everyone was there. When he was done, we all loaded into the cars and drove to the camp site. When we got there, out youth leader explained all the rules and told us to go unpack. The boys were upstairs and the girls down stairs. The high schoolers on one side and the middle schoolers on the other. I walk into the middle schoolers room and pick out a bed on the bottom. I put the extra blankets I brought around it to give me a bit of privacy. Te only place I didn't put the covers was where the steps leading to the top bunk were. I didn't want someone to trip and fall so I left that clear and decided to only cover it when I'm changing. When everyone was settled in, our youth leader, Mr. Sanders, called us all into the large main room to finish the day. We listened to a lesson and then headed off for dinner. We ate tacos but since I couldn't eat tacos since I'm allergic to the cumin they put in it, Leondre gave me a fruit bar he had in his pocket. "Why did you have this in your pocket?" I asked confused. "Because I know that you have a lot of food allergies. I thought id carry some with me. Just in case." He said smiling at me. I smiled back and are the bar. When we were all done eating, we said thank you to the workers and went back to the rooms. We did out devotions then we played some games until around midnight or so. Then we came bak to the room and everyone took showers. About 2 or 3 am, we all went to sleep completely exhausted.
