Chapter 5

(Xiao's POV)

I woke up to some weird sound coming from y/n, 'what the heck is she doing?' I found my phone to check the time, 2:45 am. 
Then I heard the sound again, it sounded like she was moving around, but also hitting the wall.
I stood up to see if she was okay, I walked over to her bed, leaning over to see if she was okay, and it really didn't seem like she was.
It looked like she had been crying, her hair was a mess, and it sounded like she still was crying, a 'bad nightmare?..'  

(Y/N's POV)

'No.. Don't... Please don't leave me.. Not like they did, you're all I have left...'

I woke up. That was the worst nightmare I've had in months, "You okay?." I heard someone beside me, "Xiao?.. Yeah I'm okay.." I said laying back down, my back facing him, "Didn't seem like it, did you have a nightmare?" He tried to roll me over so I was facing him, but that didn't work, "Why do you care." 'yeah, why do you care?..'
"Idk, maybe because you're my project partner, and I want to get to know you better?" He said still trying to roll me over "Fine, yes I did have a nightmare, happy?" I rolled over to face him, "Yes, now make some space for me" He tried getting under the covers with me, "No what, we're not even friends I won't let you sleep with me!"
I tried pushing him away, but he was stronger than me so that didn't really work, "Too bad, we're friends now, and I want to comfort you. It's always better to be with someone after a nightmare." He said finally getting under the covers with me and hugging me close

'It feels kinda good, to have him beside me like this...'
"Thank you Xiao.."

(Xiao's POV)

'She's warm, really warm... Cant we stay like this forever..'
"Thank you Xiao.."
'Her voice.. It's so.. soft?..'
"No problem.."

(He was holding you like this btw 🤭)

"WAKE UP FUCKERS!" Hu tao came barging into the room, "Wait... Where's Xiao? OHHHHHHHHHHHH, I SEE HIMMM!! GANYU GANYU GANYU GANYU GANYU COME HERE, BTW I WON THE BET GIMME THE MONEY!" Hu Tao was pretty loud, something I do not like in the morning, "Hu taooo... Be quiet please." y/n spoke, sounding tired af, i mean, if she was, i totally understand. "No thank you!" Hu tao ran happily out the door, probably to get Ganyu or something.

After a few mins, we were all standing in the living room, just looking at each other, no one saying anything, "So-" Ganyu started but was cut off by Y/N "Look I had a nightmare okay, it's nothing more than that, so don't you dare say anything about that." She sounded annoyed maybe she was embarrassed?

It was Saturday, so we didn't have school today, something I was pretty happy about, bcuz I'm tired as fuck, I bet y/n is too.
"Do you wanna stay longer, Xiao? You could stay here as long as you want, i guess.." Y/n asked looking away, it sounded like she didn't want me to hear the last part but i still did, "Uh sure," 

(Y/N's POV)

"Ooh oh, can we play Mario cart then?" Hu tao asked looking at me and Xiao, "Alright, only if you don't rage when I beat you tho." It sounded like Xiao was trying to not laugh, he seemed like the person to not laugh about that but who cares, "HEY, I DONT DO THAT!" She said trying to defend herself, "Liar."

After hundreds of rounds Hu tao losing them all, she finally quit, saying that she's gonna bake something "Don't burn anything please." I said sarcastically, "Fuck you." she said, 'lol, she's probably so mad she lost' "No thanks!" I said, chuckling.

"Sooo.. Wanna do something?" Xiao looked over at me, "Sure, what do you wanna d-" "He wants to do you." Hu tao cut you off, "What?-" Xiao looked at Hu Tao who, surprisingly haven't burned anything, "You were gonna say 'alright' or something," Hu tao said again, trying to sound sad, "We don't even know each other that well, and why the heck would he do that with someone he probably doesn't like." I said, looking back at my phone.

(Xiao's POV)

'ik we don't really know each other but you don't know if I don't like you, idiot-' "Just go do something, and do not annoy me please," Hu Tao said putting whatever she has made into the oven and starting on something else.
 "Uh, wanna watch anime?" Y/n asked. tbh, she didn't really seem like the type to watch anime, but after I saw her room I knew she watched anime.
"Sure, which one?" I watched her find Netflix on the tv "Uhh, Seraph Of The End?" (Its a great anime pls watch it) She searched up 'Seraph Of The End' "Alright, let's watch it." I said getting comfy on the couch.

WOOOOOWWWWW 2 CHAPTERS IN 1 DAY EHE-
I didn't want to end the other chapter the way I ended it, but it was a perfect place to end it, so I decided to make another chapter.
