skip to the end of the day and we're walking home from school with everyone. "hey yall ok with looking after dad,im doing a project at megans" gwen and emmi raise their eyebrows. "she wants to do it at her house?" "yeah" "and did you ask her to be your partner" "only because we both didn't have anyone" they both look at eachother but megan was oblivious as she was walking infront with donna. "you sure you like donna?" gwen chuckles. "im pretty sure.." emmi giggles. "alright" gwen replies in a suspicious tone. "this is my turn,you coming now finney?" "let's go to the store first and get stuff first" "ive got everything,my moms...crafty" "alright,bye sisters and donna" "don't have too much fun" "what.ew." finney and megan look at eachother whilst the girls walk away giggling. "what the fuck like actually what the fuck" megan giggles whilst finney adjusts the bag on his shoulder. "i dont know to be honest" he chuckles slightly before heading into megans house. "MOM,CAN WE BORROW SOME OF YOUR CRAFT STUFF FOR OUR PROJECT" megan shouts as the pair takes off their shoes. "sure hun,who's this?" "finney,emmi and gwens brother" "ok there in the basement" "thanks mom" megan gives her a big smile before her and finney head into the basement. "creepy" finney laughs. "yeah i hope the fucking rats eat you alive" "same here" they both give eachother a sarcastic look before grabbing the craft things and heading to megans room. "nice room" "thanks, so you making the planets and ill write the notes?" "sure,im dyslexic as shit so i think it's better if you do it" finney laughs to himself and we start the project. "bro if your fucking dyslexic,how do you get As?" "i actually listen in class" "right your a nerd" "you can't talk" "im just naturally smart" "yeah but do you study?" "yeah only to beat you,a chance to beat you is the only reason i actually pay attention" "wow i feel so honoured" "you should be,i would be suspended bro" "how unfortunate"
the pair work in silence but megan sees what finneys working on. "bro why do your planets look that that" megan laughs and picks up the planet,showing its peculiar shape. "leave me alone" finney chuckles. "it looks like it's deflated" megan sniggers before the pair start laughing.  "you know i never realised how ugly you are until now" finney says but like for megan it cut deep and made her hatred more clear. "shut up and finish" she says in a stern tone before getting back to the speech she was writing.

about an hour later the pair finish the project. "i guess ill get home" finney smiles. "ill walk you" megan gives a quick smile before they're out the door. "when is this project due?" megan asks finney. "um next monday i think" "alright" they walk in silence for a few moments as they get to the blake house. "see you tomorrow" finney says but megan just turns around and walks away,noticing a black van in the corner of her eye. she scurries over the street when the black van parks up next to her and drops a bag of groceries. "oh,could you help me pick these up?" the man says wearing a top hat and suit. "um i should really get home" megan crosses the street so that she's infront of the blake house and finney comes out. "hey megan,ready to go?" he has a rocket flashlight pen thing he takes to school in his hand. "yeah!" they begin walking forward and the van begins to follow them. "what are you doing" megan whispers to him. "we're just doing a circle dont worry" the black van pulls aside the pair. "would yall like to see a magic trick" "sure" finney smiles before megan looks in the back of the van. "are those black balloons?" she asks. "sure are" he pulls out the balloons out of the back of the van and puts them  both in a headlock. megan bites his arm whilst finney cuts his arm with the flashlight and gets something sprayed in their mouths before they both black out.

"hey emmi?" gwen says to emmi as theyre in emmis room. "yeah" "where's fin? hes taking a while" "your right,it's dark out lemme call megans house" the girls quietly go to the phone as their farthers asleep and dial the hopper house. "hi this is emmi blake,my brother finny was helping megan with a project and we were wondering if he'd left at all?" "no actually megan went with him but haven't returned,we were hoping she was with you" "she is not um thank you bye" emmi ends the call and pulls a horrified face. "what" gwen says concerned. "theyre both gone" "what?" "THERE GONE" emmi exclaims,waking their father who's sleeping in the armchair. "YOU WOKE ME UP" he shouts. "FINNS GONE" "shit shit shit shit" their farther gets up and immediatelyheads over to the phone.
