Part 7 - mind made up

I was sitting on nicks bed thinking if I should forgive Matt.
"No Stella! Don't forgive him!" Nick said.
"Why? He explained the full story." I said overthinking.
"I'm just saying he might be lying!" Nick said as he put his hands up.
"Now your making me overwhelmed!" I said annoyed.
"Well I was just saying!" Nick said.
"I might give him a second chance." I said, standing up and walking out of nicks room.
I walked up to matts bedroom to hear mumbling in his room and could instantly knew he was talking to Chris.
I knocked on his door lightly.
"Come in." I heard from the other side of the wall.
I opened the door to see him and Chris sitting on his bed.
"Uh, Chris can I have a few with Matt?" I asked with my hands behind my back.
"Yeah yeah of course!" He said kindly and left the room.
"I've made my mind up."
I said as matts head shot up.
"And?" He said curious.
"I forgive you." I said exhaling.
"Wait really?" He asked.
"Yeah, unless I shouldn't!" I said going to sit down on his bed.
"No no of course!"
"Do you need to tell me anything else Matt?" I asked.
"I-I-I-"
"I get it, that's fine." I said slightly smiling exiting his room awkwardly.
As soon as I got to the door knob.
"I still love you Stella, I always have loved you!" He said quickly gaining my attention.
"W-what? You still love me?" I said going closer to him.
"I get it if you don't like me back but-"
I cut him off my giving him a kiss, long and passionate one.
After 30 seconds i broke it.
"I'll take that as a yes?" He said.
I nodded in response. I could tell he was happy to have me back since he kissed me and swung me around (obviously being careful with my arm which was in a cast).
Honestly, I kinda missed this.
We plonked next to eachother on matts bed and cuddled up with eachother.
"I'm glad to have you back Matty"
"So did I Stella, so did I."
And with that we both drifted off to sleep.
