It's been a few weeks since Lily's revelation about her feelings towards Finn but she's kept it to herself and went on like nothing ever happened.

She smiles over at him "what's on your mind?"

Finn looks up at her and smiles "I was just thinking" "about what?"

He sighs "about what I did to my family"

She gives him a smile "wanna talk about it?" he nods "I guess" Lily gives him an encouraging smile "it might make you feel better to talk about it"

He nods at her "I regret trying to hurt my siblings but I was angry. I was locked in a box for 900 years and I never did anything to deserve it my brother just decided that I wasn't worth keeping around. All I saw was darkness and every time I closed my eyes I went back to that black horizon. That place where I was abandoned and forgotten, by my own family for 900 years." Finn looks down but keeps talking "I never got the chance to explore myself, yes I detested being a vampire but that was only because I missed being a witch, I was never given the chance to accept what I had become." He looks up at Lily and into her eyes "But now that I can't do anything at all I see the error in my judgment and meeting you helped me see that"

She looks back into his eyes "you had every right to be angry Finn the way they treated you wasn't fair but you just went about your anger the wrong way and you see that now so that's all that matters."

He gives her a small smile "I'd do anything to be able to make it up to them but I know that's not gonna happen"

Lily gives him a smile making her mind up about what she's going to do next.

Finn nods at her "I'll let you get some sleep, I'll see you tomorrow Lil" she smiles again "alright see you in the morning Finn" then he disappears

She's been thinking about it for weeks but she wasn't sure if she should do it but after the talk they just had, she knows it's the right thing to do.

She heads upstairs to get ready to go to bed but before she does she decides to make a call to an old friend it rings a few times before she gets an answer "hello?" Lily smiles "hey Red" "Lil... what do I owe the pleasure?"

Lily sighs "I need one of your spells Ro" there's a pause "which one?"

Lily bites her lip knowing this is a long shot but she's got to try "the resurrection one"

"Lil you're gonna have to be more specific I have several of those"

Lily rolls her eyes slightly "the one where you have to have a connection with the person you want to bring back" "ohhh why that one?"

"you are aware of my ability Ro, I know you are so-" she cuts Lily off "oh my god.... you fell in love with a dead man and you have that connection with him and you want my spell to bring him back"

Lily sighs "that's not the only reason I want to bring him back Ro but as per usual you're right on the nose"

Lily can hear the smirk in the Scottish woman's voice "Who is he?"

"Finn Mikaelson..."

"a Mikaelson? huh can't say I'm surprised but I figured you'd have gone for Kol or Klaus though them being the troublemakers that you usually gravitate towards"

Lily rolls her eyes "Rowena can I use the spell or not?"

"Sure Lil if you can handle the dark magic that it's gonna take to do the spell" Lily rolls her eyes again "I've done dark magic before Ro I can handle it"

"Okay, then where do you want to meet to get the spell and what you'll need to cast it?"

"Where are you now?"

"New York... I was thinking about going out west anyway so good thing you called when you did"

Lily nods "I can be there in a few hours.... and I can leave now if you'd prefer so that I'm not holding you up from packing to go out west"

"perfect I'll see you in a few hours then Lil"

Lily hangs up the phone and gets up getting dressed again, she grabs her case that she keeps her witchy stuff in and walks downstairs and writes a quick note for her sister just in case she's not back before she comes over the next day.

She grabs her keys and locks the house up then heads over to her car.

Making her way back to New York to meet her witch friend Rowena.
