She was hanging in there... literally. She was deader than two dead kids being dead. Hayden was traumatized by this. He walked up to her.

"Why?" He whispers. I just stayed quiet and decided to walk away and wait for Hayden. "Why? Why? Why? Why her and not me?" Hayden kept asking himself.

This was unfair to all of us. What happened to this trip? It was supposed to be fun. And now Ashley is dead. I regret everything now. It was about 25 minutes before he came back. He wasn't confident now I suppose. This is rough, especially for him. A loved one, dead. That sounds horrible. We started to walk away from Ashley's body to find a familiar area. It took so long to realize we were walking in the same area. Not with Ashley, just the same tree. It looked like the place we were in right before the shadow took us to the cave. Then, I realized, Wendy and Luke are alone together. The most paranoid kids, together. They will die... from fright. We are doomed. Wendy and Luke weren't going to save us, so we had to save ourselves. We have to hurry.

I told Hayden about the two, and the situation we were in, so he knew the problem we were about to face. we started to venture off, we found 'The Tree'. Hayden touched the markings engraved in the tree before continuing the journey. 'For all will be missed.' I thought. We were close to the grounds. But not close enough. We knew how to get their, but my mind was all fuzzy so I couldn't think straight, and Hayden couldn't walk straight. He ran right into a tree. It was so funny, that I started mocking him, and tripped on a mushroom and hit a tree. It was so funny, that it didn't even phase me. The question was, why was it so funny. It wasn't. If that happened to me at the beginning of this trip, I would crawl up into a tiny little ball and wait until my body designates and an animal eats my bones, and then that animal dies and falls into a lake so that no one will know what happened to me or they won't be able to find me. Now, I'm just happy to be alive, and with one of my 'friends'. I don't remember the rest though, all I know is that I woke up at the trunk of a tree. Hayden did too, but he was at a different tree. I could tell by the landscape we were close to the camp grounds. We have to get there fast. I didn't bother to wake up Hayden, he was impossible to wake up anyway. So I picked him up, very heavy, and walked there sense I couldn't run, even if I wanted to. Hayden woke up, and it startled me. I accidentally dropped him. 'Accidentally'.

"owww. What the heck, Vivian?" Hayden said complaining. I kicked him. The worst duo in history. "Hey, what was that for?" He said while he was standing up.

"I'm sorry, what did you call me?" I asked threatening him.

"okay okay sorry. Just give me a warning next time. Cheez it Jesus" Hayden said complaining, again. We finally started walking again, Hayden kept complaining about his head hurting. It was very annoying. Then he did something weird. He told me a joke, and not the good kind. Then he told me a very, very, very dark joke.

"The other day, my wife asked me to pass her lipstick but I accidentally passed her a glue stick. She still isn't talking to me." Hayden said, trying to be funny I didn't want to laugh, but it was very funny.

"Very funny of you to pull a joke about a girl." I said.

"You know, if you were my wife, I'd put poison in your water." Hayden said, trying to be mature.

"And if I was your wife, I'd drink it." I said. Hayden's mouth flew open. I couldn't help but laugh. It was so funny how shocked he was. I started walking weird because of how hard I was laughing, and then. BAM. I fell, onto Hayden. I stood up quickly and brushed myself off. I was trying to forget about it so I just ran.

"IVY, COME BACK!" Hayden shouted.

"CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!" I shouted back. Hayden started running after me. I jumped over a log, and Hayden tripped on that same log. I looked back to laugh at him and then I tripped on a shoe. Hayden caught up to me and then tripped on the same shoe. We were both laughing on the ground. We ended up taking a walking break and just lay on our backs on the ground and watched the clouds. Me and Hayden kept pointing up at the clouds.

"That's a donkey." Hayden kept saying.

"No, it's a dog," I replied. Hayden scoffs at my choice.

"Whatever." Hayden said. We were out there for a while and suddenly we both grew hungry and tired. Then we heard growling. "Please tell me that was your stomach!" he said, pleading. Then my life flashed before my eyes. A bear pounced onto Hayden.

"NOOOO-" I screamed, and then it jumped on me...
