"Hello?" said Ainz when he heard a small flutter sound then a small squeak came as a response. "Who's there? Are you an enemy? Please come out slowly," Ainz commanded but not too loudly to alarm the floor guardians.

Expecting a bird or something he waited, but to his shock, it was an old guildmate [Shyce], Ainz never saw Shyce's full body often due to her already small body hiding behind a snowflake from view but occasionally spoke when needed to during guild meetings.

"Shyce, how long have you been here?" Ainz questioned, he only heard a small peep in response. "Oh how about we use magic to communicate? You won't have to speak too loud and come out from your snowflake," Ainz suggested.

"M-momonga, i-is it r-really you?" Shyce spoke to Ainz via magic. "So I was right, it really is you Shyce, my shy icicle" Ainz replied back. In an instant Shyce the ice fairy came flying around the pillar she was hiding behind zooming towards Ainz's face and giving a big hug after hearing the only person who gave her a nickname like that.

"I-i was so scared of everything Momonga, everything is too big and scary, where is everyone else," Shyce said as tears started to drop forming a small base for a snowflake to form. "We aren't in Yggdrasil anymore Shyce, we are in a new universe," Ainz said, making Shyce cry even harder.

"H-hey there's no need to cry, i'm still the same Momonga before," Ainz tried to sooth Shyce from forming her unusually rapid growing snowflake. "C-can you promise not to leave m-me behind like the others?" Shyce said while hiccuping from the constant tears from the harsh truth.

"Of course Shyce, there's no way in hell I'll leave my cute icicle all alone in this kind of world," Ainz said to Shyce, making her go bright red from her usual sad blue color. "O-oh, t-thank you so much Momonga, I will do whatever I can to keep my stay," Shyce said with a small smile with tiny drops of tears going down one more time.
