DC successfully defended but lost US Title to Styles in a 4 way with Lashley and Drake, and lost championships in a 10 team battle royal as Braun eliminated himself with Fiend and Lashley with DC and now DC did block buster fights, defeating down 30 people a week later and lost a loser leaves 4 way where Lashley, Styles and DC lost to Finn Balor and DC moved to AEW Elite instead and feud with American Top Team, Honor No More & The Club simultaneously, by calling Frank Mir and Josh Barnett defeated Austin Vanderford, King Mo, Bobby Lashley and Dan Lambert in a Loser Leaves and won the trios championships from AAA, where Cain was once.
DC and Barnett and later on Mir and Barnett would become AEW Tag Champions with each holding world title and the secondary title, until Mir and Josh retire and Dc got Ken Shamrock as Manager who helped face off OG Club, destroying people with Kenny Omega and helping DC make Kenny tap out, making the same for Y2J as well.
in a year DC lost none and retired undefeated when TNA now Impact Wrestling called him and he made his debut against Honor No More.
