Chapter 1: I am Aurora

I am Aurora, I was an average person for most of the time, I did okay on my academics, I had hobbies that I turn do in my free time, I was pretty bland if you think about it.

I don't have people that would always want to hang out with me except for 1 person, my friend Talia. She always wants me to have more friends, to interact with more people. She'd even go out of her way to include me on things that only she was meant to do. She'd bring me to parties and other social stuff and I always hated it, but she never really left me alone.

Until; It's December 16th, and it's our Christmas party for our class. I'm surprised that I'm still choosing to go to events like this. And for some reason, my only friend, who insisted me to go wasn't able to go because;

"We're actually going to our grandparents place, Have fun without me!" She said before going away.

Oh, that girl is gonna get hit when she gets back.

But if I'm being honest, I'm not sure why I still went. Like there's a part of me saying that I have to see everyone here, the people who didn't even see me most of the time. I sound like a cliche nobody character, but it's just how God made me, if he does exist anyway.

It's kind of weird that I feel like I'm about to see these people for the last time. I felt the same before leaving for school earlier. Something was off.

*Someone touches my shoulder from behind*

"Aurora," the person said.

Why did you have to leave me alone Talia. I don't even know what I should do in this situation.

*I look back to see who it was, feeling a bit annoyed*

"What?!" I said. Eyebrows crossed.

"Oh, I-I just wanted to give you something," he said.

It's a gift. Oh right, Christmas party.

"Oh, thank you," I replied while smiling at him.

*The guy breathes a sigh of relief before walking away*

Hm? Am I that unapproachable?Anyway, now that I think about it, I'm forgetting something. Ah right! I also have a gift for someone named "Ally"... I don't know this person.

"Hey wait!" I called

*The guy looks back*

"Yeah?" He asked

"I know we've been classmates for months but I still don't know most of anyone's name,"  I said feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Do you know who I am?" He asked me.

"Um, I'm sorry but I don't," I politely answered.

"Oh, I see," he said looking disappointed.

Oh my, did I hurt his feelings, I didn't mean to. I should just get straight to the point.

"I'm sorry but can you do me a favor and give this to the girl named "Ally", it would be great," I asked him.

He looks at me like I just cracked a joke.

"Did I say something wrong?" I asked. "No," he answered. "Then is there something on my face?" I asked again feeling more self conscious. "No," He still said. "Then what is it?" I asked him again.

He took the gift I held.

"You'll give it to her then?" I said in relief. He laughed and said, "I'll open your gift later, thank you."

Wha--

*I turn red from my realization*

"I-I'm so sorry, I didn't even know" I said while hiding my face. "It's okay," he responded, "you did say that you didn't know most of the people here in our class, so I get it."

"Thank you so much," I replied happily while shaking his hands.

*He smiled at me.*

I actually found someone that I can be friends with besides Talia. I'm so happy.

"Aurora, why don't you come join us?" Ally asked. "Join you?" I asked, "on what?"

"Hang out with us," he answered, "i didn't see Talia anywhere so I figured you'd want some company."

Wow is he just asking me out or something? Oh wait, he did say to join "us" so it's him and his friends.

"Thanks for the offer but, I'm not really sure if I should come with you guys," I answered. "Oh, why so?" He asked.

"Like I said earlier, I don't know most of our classmates, including your friends, why do you think I would be okay to join you," I responded. "We're not that bad," he said, "and I'm sure you'll like my friends."

Wow, I was feeling a bit comfortable with him earlier but now he's starting to feel a bit too pushy. I don't think I like him anymore.

"Look, I don't even know you, why would you still want me to go with you?" I said, feeling annoyed. "I just want to know you more, plus, if you're feeling uncomfortable because we're all boys, you can just say," he answered.

"Oh, okay," I replied without moving out of my seat. "So, Aurora, are you coming?" He asked me. "Um, I don't think so," I answered.

"Please come, I just want to know you more," he begged.

I feel like there's something wrong with this person, can't he get a clue.

"Fine, I guess," I answered reluctantly. "Really? Thank you so much!" He excitingly answered.

What am I doing, I don't even know these people. Should I really go with these guys.

I mean Talia did say, "you should use anything that would happen to be an excuse to make friends,"

Was that how she said it, I don't really remember quite well.

"Where are we going exactly?" I asked. "Oh you'll see," he said.

And to my surprise, it wasn't anything good.

"This is an empty room," I said. "And we're the only people here," he said with a scary look on his face.

I knew I shouldn't have went with him, something bad is gonna happen for sure.

"W-whaa--" as soon as I said anything someone held my hands and tied my down.

"I'm sorry, but I just can't take it anymore," Ally said. "This will be quick."

*He starts stripping until he's left with nothing on*

"N-no, stop it," I pleaded as I tried to take the restraints off.

*His friends start to unbutton my clothes and touch me inappropriately*

"Please... Stop," I cried. "This will be quick, I promise," Ally said while touching me down there.

"HEL--" as soon as I tried screaming one of his friends covered my mouth.

I couldn't do anything but cry.

"Aurora, reach out to me," Someone said.

"That voice?!" I thought, "it sounded like Talia's."

As I open my eyes I see a bright light in a shape of a hand. I kept moving my hands and luckily got one hand out of being tied.

It's a good thing these maniac are lousy at tying stuff.

I immediately reached into the hand creating a huge explosion that blowed away Ally and his friends, knocking them unconscious.

As soon as the explosion was gone I looked around to see something I'm not familiar with but I did see someone that I knew, Talia.
