The skies were tinted in bright blue, Everyone is back, bringing the joy and happiness back to the city, someone's friend, someone's lover, someone's family. They said it felt like they were in an endless dream suffering from pain but not remembering anything clearly. They shouldn't because dreaming of yourself being killed for day's sounds way too traumatizing.
The festival seemed more cheerful, university flooded with students. They were there to get their dresses and suits for the ball which will be held at the auditorium in the back of the university, it's interior was designed in a way that it didn't look less than an actual ball room you see in movies.
As soon as the evening came, the gates were opened wide for the celebration to begin. The earlier blue skies getting pink and violet, the sun setting slowly. The food was placed on the feasting tables, the corners of the tables had little roses drawn on them giving more of the royal vibes. everything seemed going back to normal.
Around seven pm the auditorium was full of students. The auditorium's most amazing and glorifying thing was its roof made from glass, it was transparent showing the blanket of night sky with stars embedded on it, the architect surely did a fine job. The walls were painted in faint shade of pinks, the decorative white flowers hanging from the ceiling. The gigantic chandelier being the show's topper.
The DJ played soft music to match the theme. Heeseung stood there welcoming all the students and giving them their masquerade masks. The real reason is, he is waiting for someone to appear but it seems like she is not coming. being disappointed he moved to the feasting table and took a glass of grape juice. sunghoon was among his fellow classmates to the other side of heeseung pretty absorbed in conversation until he noticed heeseungs dazed state. He excused himself and went to heeseung.
"Hey, heeseung what happened? where is your partner." Sunghoon placed his arm around his shoulders
"She is not here," heeseung blankly replied.
"Are you waiting for the miss who helped us," he sat beside him and sipped his drink.
"Yeah, I am." Heeseung replied while following Jake's movement who was sitting to his other side now.
"Don't worry she will be here in some time," jake assured him by patting his back, he is back too, the pharmacist found him on the ground in front of his shop with his luggage. Jake doesn't remember how he fainted and what happened but he got memories of being with his mother these few days. Didn't sunghoon said the same to everyone?
"He has gone to his mom, she asked for him to be there," these were his exact words.
Later someone entered the venue wearing a pretty beige gown whose corset was embroidered with fine thread, it's skirt was layered, with a bit glitter on it but not much and lastly her mask pure white with gold outlining, her pretty black eyes looking around, searching for someone after roaming everywhere finally landing on heeseung.
