September 1st, on a cold afternoon
Both kel and basil had been walking together to school they didn't even realize they were holding hands but it wouldn't be weird, because well.. they're boyfriends..
But in Kels oblivious eyes, he thought when basil confessed that he meant "loving you" as a "best friend" but when basil had kissed kel when they were walking and flushed away silently, kel had finally realized that it was not a best friend thing.
Once basil had reached his classroom, he had to unfortunately let go of hands with kel but they had promised they would re-joice their handholding the moment break started...which was in 2 periods (this is 8th grade btw) basil had sat only 18 minutes through his math class and couldn't handle just sitting there, so he requested to go to the restroom [because he had planned to go meet up with kel] basil raised his hand high, being ignored by the teacher for atleast an entire 18 minutes before being noticed, once the teacher had picked on basils hand,
basil was startled
"o..oh! My bad I didn't realize you picked me, but is it alright if I use the restroom?"
Basil stuttered
The room was silent and cold
But basil felt heated for the thing he was about to do with kel.
