A nearly empty ballet studio. A slight aura of light surrounds the studio as the little girl dances. She's merely seven years old.  Dance was shoved down her throat and into her lungs. Each time she breathed, she danced.

"Do you remember? Remember what's it's like to fail. Don't make the same mistake again!" A mother watches, her words echoing the empty studio.

Now a slightly older girl dances on stage. Her mother watches the performance, a permanent scowl on her face. The girl molded to perfection until she slightly falls out of her turn. Horror threats to bubble to the surface, but the girl shoves it down.

An empty seat where her mother sat. The only sound being the slamming of the auditorium doors.

" I'm sorry Mother. Please. Please. The floor was slippery. It wasn't my fault. I'll be perfect next time— I promise." She begs, tears streaming down her face, her pleas ignored.

Her mother molded her sculptured her. Open her up , and you'll find perfection. She was going to crawl herself out of the dirts of outerbanks with her mother latching out to her.

Her mother moved out of her body, and into her daughters. She would sometimes look in the mirror & find her mother staring back at her.

The girl grows up, she now dances in the empty studio,Tears mixed in with sweat, as she dances. Her yells of pain over powered by the music.

The girl drops to the ground. Eyes closed & heart stopped. Seconds pass without her. She was falling farther & farther away. Icarcus falling from the sun.

A blonde haired boy in shambles, enters the studio, hiding in the darkness. He stops when he notices the girl.
