It was supposed to rain today. He knew that wind came right before a storm, and he was just waiting.
What you two had, he guessed, was a storm.
It used to be sunny with no clouds in the sky.
Until the actions before a storm happened. You guys were in a windstorm stage, possibly becoming a tornado. He was just waiting for the breakout to happen and have a full on thunderstorm.
And he realized that thunderstorms scared many people, and that's when he also realized that what he had with you, scared him more than any thunderstorm that could rain upon him.
