Willow hated almost everything. don't get her wrong she wasn't mean or anything she just usually doesn't like anyone or anything.
Except for her grandma and her favorite coffee shop. The coffee shop is just a block away from where she lives, so every day before school willow reads in the café.
The café wasn't perfect but that's what willow loved about it. The smell of burnt coffee and vanilla, the bitter tea, and the wooden floors that creaked with every step only made willow love the place even more.
willow was currently sitting in math class which right now can go on the long list of things willow hates. She doesn't usually hate math or school in general but today willow was in the worst mood ever. She didn't wake up to her alarm this morning, so she had to skip the café and go straight to school, which means she missed out on her morning tea which automatically means the day is going to suck then it was raining so she got to school completely drenched. Willow never takes the bus. Ever. She would rather walk. Even in the rain. Willow didn't realize she wasn't listening to anything her teacher said until she heard the bell signaling the end of the school day. She walked outside the building and started her journey home.

One of the things willows hated was how cold it was in the morning. Getting up early to walk to the café is always a challenge but she never regretted it. She quickly walked through the heavy door of the Cafe eager to get out of the cold. She made her way over to her usual seat but stopped short as she saw it was occupied. Her eyes involuntarily narrowed as she stomped over to the boy that had 'stolen' her favorite spot.

"That's my seat" she said.

The boy looked up from his book to meet her eyes. He had dark messy hair and glasses that sat in front of his green eyes.

"Oh, I didn't know you could reserve seats here" he said playfully.

"You can't." She huffed "but I sit here every day" she continued.

"Hmm" the boy hummed as he closed his book. "I've never seen you here."
He said. Having too much fun teasing her to stop. She rolled her eyes. Getting impatient with this boy.
"That's my seat" she Repeated.
"Why can't you sit over there?" He questioned pointing over to the identical corner of the Cafe.
"Because when I get here early in the morning the sun shines perfectly through the window so it keeps me warm and gives me plenty of light so I can read-"

"I'm Pretty sure there is light in that corner too." He interrupted. She ignored him and continued. "And when it gets really busy everyone sits on that side and I can't focus whe-"

"Alright Alright" he interrupted again stopping her rant. "How about you sit with me." He suggested. Gesturing to the table.

"I don't know you" she said stating the obvious. "Well sit down and get to know me and if by tomorrow you still don't like me then maybe just maybe I'll move."
"You're coming back tomorrow?"
She asked. Trying not to sound to disappointed but failing.

"Yes." He chuckled.
She stared at him for a second before deciding to sit down seeing as he wasn't going to budge. She sat down silently praying that this boy wouldn't try talking to her.

"So..." He trailed off not knowing how to fill the awkward silence that fell between the two. "Where are you from?" She sighed.
"Was born here" She muttered keeping her brown eyes on her book. She was hoping he would get her obvious message. Mabye he didn't. But willow had a feeling he did.
"What are you reading?" he asked with Slightly furrowed eyebrows. "Pride and prejudice." She replied
"Cool" he said. Looking back to his book but not reading. She sighed. "What are you reading?" she asked. Giving in.
"Harry Potter" he said. A wide grin taking over his face. At that she cracked a smile.

They sat there reading in silence for about an hour. Willow noticed that he kept looking up at her, but she ignored it. eventually willow closed her book and stood up.

"Where are you going?" he asked. As he looked up with furrowed brows.
"I have to go to school."
"Oh. See you tomorrow."
She didn't answer but gave one last look to the boy.
