Part 5

"Anna please! Why are you doing this?" Jason asked me

We are now having a race, a race to nowhere, I just want to forget all the memories we both had together.

"Uhm, Anna?" Jason called my name, but I didn't notice him because there may be an Anna at my back

"Anna?" He calls me again

"Anna." And again

There are many girls with the name Anna here Jason not only me

"Anna?" Beth asked

"This Anna?" Kim pointed me to Jason

"Or that Anna?" Beth pointed at the skinny ballerina who came here one day with a piece of grape as her food of the day (seriously)

"The Anna that I love" Jason said

I was shocked when he said that, no one replied from the four of us until Jason, looked at me

"Yes?" I asked

"Anna can we talk?" He asked

"We are talking right now" I replied

"No, just the both of us"

"Don't worry, they won't spoil"

"If that's what you want, okay Anna I still love you, my feelings for you never changed" He confessed

One he said those words, I stand up and walked away then he followed me.

Now we are in the middle of nowhere right now, he's still calling my name

"Anna, please! Can we talk?" He asked again

"Jason, not now, maybe after the play, tomorrow can be" I replied

"Tomorrow? I'm leaving tomorrow" He said

I was shocked when he's going to leave tomorrow, I thought he's already a student here.

I stopped then I faced him "Where?" I asked

"I'm going back to Paris"

"I...I thought..."

"Yeah I know but it's a bet Anna, my visit is just a bet" He told me

What bet? "What kind of bet Jason?"

"It's between me and my mom, if I didn't talk to you before the play, I'm going back to Paris the night after the play and if I talk to you I'm not coming back to Paris again. Do you get it?"

So his visit was just a bet, I feel liked, the person I loved didn't respect me because "You're just using me Jason, how dare you!" I defended myself

"Anna, you don't understand"

"What I don't understand?" I started to cry "I don't need to understand or listen to your perspective"

"Anna, listen to me first"

"NO! Just go away Jason, I don't need you, don't never ever talk to me"

Then I ran away

Jason was left behind in that scene, he was just standing there, quietly...

After that incident, I tried to forget about it because I need to relax for the play tomorrow.

"Are you okay?" Beth asked

I told her everything that happened a while ago even she's loud she still respect me and my privacy

"Yes, I am" I told her

"Just forget about it Anna, it's only Jason, there are lots of guys who are better than Jason"

I know there are many guys who are better than him, but I accept him even he is not that perfect.

"I know Anna, that if you love someone, you accept everything about him even he's not that perfect, maybe there's a reason behind that bet but it's not worth knowing, maybe"

After Angelica told me, my phone vibrated and I saw a text message from Jason

From: Jason

Sorry, I can't be perfect, but still tried to make things right"

"Is that Jason?" Beth asked

"Yes, it's him, he said that he can't be perfect but he tried to make things right" I explained

"Anna, but do you still have feelings for him?" Beth and Angelica asked

"When a question has no correct answer..."

"Silence means yes Anna, I know that already" Angelica told me

"That has a correct answer Anna, you still don't accept it" - Beth
