BRRRRRRR, SpongeBob's alarm clock wakes him up. Ready to start his day, he brushes his square teeth and eyes before leaving his house.
"Hey Pat, I have a feeling this is going to be the best day ever!" says Spongebob.
"Oh hey Spongebob, you look great today." replied Patrick.
"Oh it's just the joy of working at the best restaurant in the world! See ya later Patrick!"
Spongebob starts running towards the Krusty Krab before bumping into a humongous line of people waiting.
"Holy Neptune! I really have to go!" Spongebob says, realizing the Krusty Krab might be in trouble.
However, when he arrives at the Krusty Krab, it's abandoned except for Mr. Krabs and Squidward.
"Sponge-me-boy! What happened to all me customers!?" says Mr Krabs.
"I don't know sir." Spongebob replied, starting to follow the large line of people from before.
It actually led to another restaurant, Kelpshake.
"Come one, come all, try our Kelpshake!" says Plankton, inviting people inside.
Spongebob confronts him, "What do you think you're selling Plankton?"
"Ah, just the sponge I was hoping to see. It's just a harmful kelp shake, no need to be suspicious." Plankton says with a grin.
Spongebob squints his eyes while saying "Oh ok, well let me just get one for Mr. K-"
"Oh, I have a special one already reserved for Mr. Krabs right here!" Plankton says, cutting Spongebob off.
Spongebob returns with the kelp shake and gives it to Mr Krabs who drinks it. Suddenly, Mr. Krabs starts to cough and grow green fur all over his body. Spongebob noticed that actually everyone who drank the kelp shake started to get sick with some sort of disease. Kelp Disease.
-5 minutes later-
"What did you do Plankton!?" yelled Spongebob outside the Kelpshake restaurant.
"What, I didn't do anything. You caused this onto yourself for falling right where I wanted you to. And if you want to save these pitiful fish, I suggest you do as I say." Plankton sneered.
"Listen, I have the cure. Perhaps we could come up with some sort of exchange. Favors for favors eh? How about that Krabby Patty Secret Formula?" Plankton explained, nudging spongebob on the shoulder.
Spongebob looks over Bikini Bottom, chaos ensues on the streets as people are seen coughing, covered in fur and falling to the ground in pain.
"Fine, you win." Spongebob whispers, his voice falters as their exchange of glass bottled information is completed.
"Well at least now I can save Bikini Bottom!" Spongebob says enthusiastically with the glass bottled information on the cure in his hands.
Spongebob runs towards the city and starts to tell everyone that he can cure them all. He opens the glass bottle and inside he finds out that the cure is a krabby patty.
"So a krabby patty is the only way to cure us?" someone says.
"Yeah right, this is all just a way to make us spend our money at the Krusty Krab!" someone else adds.
Soon everyone is in an uproar about the supposed cure to the kelp disease. Spongebob is distraught, he ended up having neither the power nor the respect of the person he was trying to save.
Spongebob returns home, and finds his emergency krabby patty, most likely the last one he'll ever eat. He ate slowly, savoring the flavor to cope with the loss of his integrity and feeling of dooming the bikini bottom.
Plankton leaves Bikini Bottom to die and starts to sell krabby patties internationally, no one would ever suspect the lengths he had gone to, if no one was alive to tell the tale.
As the bikini bottom collapses, King Neptune receives words. He arrived, however, too late to take any action. "Who did this?" asked King Neptune.
Plankton and SpongeBob were the only survivors. Plankton, being the wicked creature he is, blames SpongeBob for the catastrophe.
"He's the one accountable, sire," said Plankton.
Unable to defend himself, Plankton offered himself to King Neptune as his personal chef after being taken by the king's guards. He accepted, being the merciful monarch that he is, granting plankton access to other realms and letting him travel overseas to sell patties.
