Michiko was staring at herself in her mirror. She shouldn't be doing this, as it results in consequences for herself. It hurt her.

It was the first day of school, and she was not excited. At all. She was terrified, and hated people. Sometimes, she really thinks she's not mentally okay. Nor physically, but I think we knew that part.

She had been throwing up her food, all the time. What would she do now? She knows the people at her school. She would have to go to a different bathroom, where someone isn't in her area, in the cafeteria.

She noticed no changes at all. She only noticed the changes of her health. She did not have good health, if that wasn't obvious. She wanted to look pretty, look good for the other people at her school. She wasn't sure why, but she knew she wanted to please people she hadn't even known. She didnt know why.

If you asked why, she wouldn't have an answer.

She picked out some tight, tight leggings. A longer shirt, though. Since she didn't notice any changes to her body, yet, she grabbed a corset she had been wearing for a while when she wanted to be like the pretty girls. Which was almost everyday. She grabbed it, and tightened it. All the way.

As she tightened it, she made a little noise. Sounding like a groan, and an 'ouch'.

     It hurt.

She caked makeup on, hoping to cover her acne. And pimples. She washed her hair around three times. She also put on platform white boots, hoping that would work. She grabbed her book bag, a tiny handbag, and put her phone in it. She looked at herself in the mirror, almost crying knowing she was hurting herself, and not being able to stop.

The bus came to her stop.  People were staring.

The thoughts, and the overthinking started to flood in.

"Could they see my corset?" "Does my hair look weird?" "Is it too much makeup?" "Were the boots too much?" "Do i look weird?" "Do i look fat?"

All the thoughts distracted her, as she walked straight into someone in the back. She couldn't say anything. She was too nervous and scared. She just looked at the kid, dumbfounded.

"Sit down," The bus driver yelled, immediately sitting down somewhere near the window, alone. But the kid she accidentally bumped into kept staring at her, once in a while.

Man, she's gonna get bit in the back for that.
