A/N's POV

Jin: "There was a 7 year old boy admitted here today. Which room is he in?"

Jin asked panting, as he rushed in to the hospital as soon as he got a call from the inspector. Jin was informed by Si-woo's teacher that he was missing.

Since then he has been worried sick about his son. He had been searching around for his son like a mad man.

He felt his world collapse when he got news about Si-woo's accident. And he had rushed to the said hospital as soon as he could.

And as the receptionist said the room number, Jin didn't waste anymore time in running inside to meet his son.

His tears finally fell when he saw his son, laying on the bed, covered in bandages and gauzes.

He was about to walk towards Si-woo but the doctor entered inside the room making him stop.

Doctor: "Are you his guardian?"

Jin nodded and answered him.

Jin: "I'm his father. Is he okay doctor? What happened?"

Doctor: "He has a head injury, a broken leg and some scratches in his body. He should take bed rest till his injuries are healed. Thankfully he was brought to the hospital on time."

Jin: "Who brought him to the hospital?"

Doctor: "It was that lady along with another man. She was the one who donated her blood for your son's operation."

The doctor said pointing at Y/N. And only then Jin noticed the figure sitting on the chair with her head rested on the bed.

Doctor: "The nurses will give you the list of medicines to be bought. I'll take my leave now."

Jin thanked the doctor and walked towards Si-woo. He observed his son's condition and blamed himself for not being able to protect him.

He softly held Si-woo's hand and caressed it.

Jin: "I'm sorry."

He whispered and kissed Si-woo's forehead before leaving the room. Jin knew that he had to inform Jungkook about everything.

He dialled Jungkook's number but since he wasn't picking up, he called Taehyung and told him about Si-woo's accident.

Meanwhile Y/N woke up from her nap and looked at her surroundings but her eyes fell on the unconscious boy.

She gently caressed his head and smiled sadly hoping for him to wake up soon.

Jin, who just entered after finishing the phone call, looked at the stranger caring so much about Si-woo.

He cleared his throat to gain her attention. Y/N turned towards him and frowned.

Jin: "Thank you so much for saving my son's life."

He said bowing 90° to show the gratitude.

Y/N: "I just did what I was supposed to do."

She wanted to yell at him to take care of his child but his blood-shot guilty eyes said how much pain he was in. Besides she was just a stranger to them.

Jin: "The doctor said that you had even donated your blood. You can ask for any amount of money-"

Y/N: "That will not be required Mr. I'll take my leave now. But I will come to visit him later on."

Jin nodded his head dumbfounded. She left after that angrily.

She called Adi and asked him to pick her up from the hospital after getting out of the room.
