"Do you think it's a good idea?"

"It is, of all the options, the most plausible."

"But wouldn't I be overdoing it?"

"Fuck, Minho, either you do it or you don't do it. Choose, but stop nagging me, we've been like this for a week."

And he was right. Changbin had been with me for a week organizing what tonight, in theory, I was going to put into practice.

He had put up with everything. Messages, phone calls, crying, nerves, doubts, and everything. Why? Because I wanted to know if the guy I like feels the same way I do.

Tonight, we had arranged for the group to have a peaceful little party at Binnie's house. The plan was to play truth or dare and it didn't matter his choice since he would have to reveal if he has a crush on someone.

I know. It sounds childish, but we really couldn't have come up with anything better.

It was already 7 pm and we were all in the lounge with drinks and some food playing video games and talking about how stressful and obnoxious college classes are.

"Felix, don't cheat."

"I'm not cheating, Jeongin. You just suck at playing."

"Yes, you are cheating Felix, I've been watching you for a while and you're using codes in the controls."

"Seungmin, you don't even know how to play. What are you talking about?"

"Yeah, yeah. How about we play Just Dance?"

"What's the point? If you always win Hyunjin, it totally takes the fun out of it."

"And how do you expect me to relieve stress, Jisung? Dancing Just Dance is the only thing that saves me from ending up assaulting the fridge. You unwind by watching anime and I unwind by dancing. It's not my fault you move like you have a stick up your ass."

I observe the panorama. They are a mess, but they're loved. They always end up arguing about one thing or another.

Being in different careers and seeing each other much less than in our teenage years hasn't resulted in a drift apart. In fact, we've become even closer. Even the age gaps haven't been a hindrance. The older ones have always helped the younger ones, but that doesn't mean they haven't helped us.

Jeongin, the youngest, has just started his first year at university, while Seungmin, Jisung, and Felix are in their second. Hyunjin is in his third year on his own, and Changbin and I are in our last year.

And then... there's Chan. He already graduated last year and right now he works in a music production company.

Today is the first time we've seen Chan in two months. We have kept in touch, but now that we're in the same room, we've barely spoken to each other.

I'd say it's mostly my fault. I'm so nervous I can't even look at him.

Today, after two years of realizing my feelings for Chan, I'm going to make one of my worst decisions and that is to listen to Changbin with his idea.

This may make things tense and uncomfortable in the group, but I can't take it anymore. I need to try or else I'm going to end up exploding.

"How about... playing truth or dare?"

A series of boos are directed towards Changbin and his idea. Everyone starts to complain that we are all grown up and that there is little we don't already know about the others. But in between crappy arguments and lousy arguments, Changbin convinces them.
