Charming.
Harry would describe the snug little cottage, located in the isolated fields of the Cotswolds, as charming.
Everything from the uneven wooden floor, the gas hob that likes to put up a fight, knitted coasters, to the single glazed windows that has hanging flower pots that in Harry's opinion, attracts way too many bees. He's never been stung before and is not planing on being stung anytime soon. That's why he ever so carefully watched from the bedroom window as they danced around the flowers. He even secretly named a few. Apparently, you shouldn't name things because you become way to attached. Now Harry could say that after three minutes of observing and making up background stories for the black and yellow insects, he was grateful for the colour bursting flowers that attracted them, they were charming.
Everything was just so charming! Even the thick northern accent that he heard from behind him...
Hang on a minute.
"Excuses me love, the owner said everyone should've cleared out by now," the stranger spoke making, Harry jump.
Clinging on to his white towel, that unlike most men he had folded just underneath his armpits, looking like a fuzzy white dress, he turned around. He made sure not to whip his head as he turned because of the fear of the tall towel that was twisted on his head, enclosing and drying his curls, falling off. With his piercing green eyes, he looked at the man that stood in the doorway of the bedroom.
The man stood on guard, looking on edge as his sapphire eyes scanned the room and everything in it, including Harry.
"Oh..." the man, Louis, awkwardly let out a heavy breath when he saw the tanned leggy silhouette, who he thought was a tall women. In reality, this imaginative women actually had a sharper jaw line then him, angular brows, faint stubble littering pale skin and when the stranger spoke, Louis was shocked by the deepness of the voice. The women was a man.
"I think you've got the wrong place," Harry said abruptly, not exactly wanting to have a conversation with a stranger as he stood naked under a towel. He clutched it tighter to his body for safety measures, not that he was shy by any means.
Louis frowned in confusion, "Erm... no I don't. I've rented this place till the end of September."
"Well you're clearly wrong, I've already been here a week and I'm staying until the 6th-"
"Of July?"
"No, that would be today. I've payed for three months," glared Harry. He doesn't mind being interrupted, just not so rudely. The blue eyed stranger seems incapable of sounding anything but rude.
"Well, you've got it wrong because I spoke to the owner this morning," he bragged. Louis tugged his phone out of the pocket of his slim adidas joggers to show the stranger proof, but was stopped when he looked up to see him pulling the towel off his head. Louis already figured that Harry was pretentious but his long curly locks just added to the theory.
Slowly, Harry shook his head making his hair cascade just past his shoulders. He buried in his hand and tugged on his curls, tussling and shaking away any drops of water.
"See?" Louis urged, pushing his phone forward to show Harry the messages. "Let's see your messages, if you're so certain that you should be here."
Sighing, Harry brushed his hair back while looking unimpressed, "I'll get my phone." Instead of going straight for his mobile, he dropped his towel. Simply dropped it. Thankfully, Louis averted his eyes in time so he didn't have to see Harry's naked body walk around the room. "Here you go, have a look."
"I'm not looking untill you put some clothes on."
Harry scoffed, "I'm covered, you can relax."
Hesitantly opening his eyes, that he practically had to peel open because they were scrunched so tightly shut, he finally looked at Harry who was now in an even fluffier white robe with HS embroidered on the left chest. Louis figured it's his initials and he also fully made his mind up - the stranger is one hundred percent a Twat. Even with the large pay check he earns at the end of every month, Louis wouldn't dare spend money on something so insignificant. He may be rich, but he isn't pretentious.
