"Hey, you've been quiet." Liam said as we watched a movie.

"It's just I love the story." I told him

"You're not even reacting to it." Liam teased

"Jade you can be honest with me. I am your boyfriend." Liam added

"Liam, how did you know you love me?" I asked

"I don't know, it just happens Jade. There's really no reason or moment. It's just that when I see you I feel something inside me." he told me

"Louis used to tell me it was not about knowing how or when, but it was about feeling something for the person, it was the urge to care for them that you realize you love them. He used to tell me, you know you love someone when all you want is to take care of that person." I responded

"I guess he's right." Liam said with a smile

"Why do you ask?" he added

"Nothing, it was just a question." I said as I squeezed his hands for assurance

"L-O-V-E. Love? Hmmm. What a word huh?"Louis said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"We say 'I love you' but when you ask them why there isn't any remote reason. I mean shouldn't there be a reason? It feels like a useless phrase without meaning if they say I love you just because." he said

"Then why do you love me as a friend and how did you know you love me?" I asked

"Well I love you because you're like my better half, you complement me. How? How is the hard part, cause there isn't any exact moment, maybe there is a moment you realize that what you feel has meaning but there isn't a moment when you start loving a person, cause if there is then it means there is an end. I don't want to believe there is an end." he explained

"See you tomorrow babe okay? Feel better." Liam said as he kissed my cheeks and waited for me to get in the house

Liam was a very sweet guy and I am so happy to have him it was just.... he isn't...

"You're a little early Jadey." my Dad greeted me with a hug

"Just feeling a little under the weather." I lied

"Oh, I'll make you a cup of tea then." my Dad offered

"Nah, I'll just sleep Dad." I responded

"Okay then, I haven't seen Louis in a while. How is he?"my Dad then said before I got into my room

"Yeah, we haven't actually talked in a while. He's been distant." I admitted before I closed the door behind me.

I curled up in my bed thinking about what Louis said in the Homecoming. I missed him, I missed hugging him and seeing him laugh. I haven't seen him laugh genuinely until Bridgit came and it made me jealous. How can someone he just met make him happy in an instant? And how come someone he knew half of his life bring so much misery in his life?

I woke up the next day feeling like shit. I got into the shower and got ready, I saw Liam waiting for me in the living room and he had the sweetest smile. How can such a nice guy like him fall for a girl who's not sure of anything right now? He deserves someone sure of what she feels.
