I am now sitting on a chair here in our veranda while watching the birds flying in the sky. The sun is out but not that hot. So, I decided to go to the garden which is my favorite place to hangout. I stood up and walked to the garden. I sat down in the green grass and took my phone out of my pocket to check some updates.

There's a post from my social media that catches my attention. It's a compilation of photos of my friend proposing to his girlfriend. I smiled as I scrolled and checked every photo. Something came up in my mind. I suddenly remembered the time My Love proposed, asking me to marry him and I can still remember the feeling na para bang tumigil lahat ng nasa paligid ko. Yung para bang kayong dalawa lang ang nasa lugar na yon?

I sighed, placed my phone back in my pocket and looked at the sky. I closed my eyes while I was feeling the warm ray of sunshine. Suddenly, I heard footsteps. I didn't bother it. It can be one of my family. It's only me and family lang naman ang nandito.

Maya-maya, tumigil yung ingay ng paa. This time, I can feel that someone is watching. I opened my eyes and I saw a man. A man that I didn't expect to be here.

"S-seungcheol?" I asked.

"Seungcheol?" he asked.

Nakataas pa yung kaliwang kilay nya, para bang mali yung pangalan na binanggit ko.

"Huh?"

"Bakit Seungcheol? Hindi naman ganyan tawag mo sakin."

"I'm sorry. Nagulat kasi ako."

"Forgiven. Pero tawagin mo ko sa pangalan na binigay mo." He demanded.

"Okay, Love." I said and smiled.

I scooted to the side to give him space and he sat down beside me. He looked at me and caressed my hair.

"Ang lalim ata ng iniisip ng love ko."

I chucked a bit. "Not really."

"You are. I know you."

I nodded. I forgot that this man knows every detail about me. As in lahat. I took his hand and looked at him.

"Love?" I asked.

"Yes, Love?" he answers.

"Should I let go of someone that I know it's not healthy for me to keep them close to me?"

"Oh? Why did you ask that?"

"Nothing, I just want to know your opinion."

He looked at the sky and placed his hand on his chin. Para bang ang lalim ng iniisip. After a few seconds, he looked at me and nodded.

"Yes, you should."

"Why?"

"Kasi hindi na sya o sila healthy sayo. Letting people out of your life is not that bad. It's like being matured. Kasi, you can now let them go and you are not afraid to go alone."

I smiled and nodded.

"You're right."

"I know. Pero sino muna yung tinutukoy mo?"

"Wala natanong ko lang."

He shurgs. I looked at him and admired him. Reminiscing all the happy and sad moments we shared. I love this man so much but it hurts me more when he's with me.

He looked at me, confused. He wipes his thumb in my face. I didn't realize that I am now crying.

"Why are you crying?"

"L-Love. Please tell me my decision is the best for us."

"What decision, Love?"

"Love. It's been two years."

He sighs and pulls me closer to him. He hugged me and tapped my back slightly.

"I understand. You can do that. If you think that it is the best for you. Then, go. Do it."

I slightly pushed him and looked straight into his eyes.

"Hindi ka magagalit sakin?"

"Why would I? Alam ko naman na lahat ng ginagawa mo is makakabuti para sa lahat. Para sayo." He said and he smiled.

I nodded and smiled back at him. I caressed his hair and cupped his face.

"Thank you, My Love"

"Always, Love."

I took a deep breath and wiped the tears. I sat up straight and held his hands and smiled at him.

"Hmm?"

I chuckled faintly. He smiled at me and I felt the light grip on my hands.

"Choi Seungcheol, the man that I love the most."

"Yes, My Love?"

"Starting today, I'm letting you go. I'm going to move on from the pain that I kept since you left. I'm going to erase the pain slowly hanggang sa hindi ko na sya maramdan ulit. I'm sorry kung ngayon ko lang tutuparin yung pangako ko sayo."

He nodded and planted a kiss on my hand.

"Thank you, Love. Please be happy like what you promised me."

"I'm letting you go but it doesn't mean that I will forget you. I will love you forever but I have to accept the fact that you're not coming back and I need to move forward. You'll watch over me, right?"

He scooted closely to me and gave me a kiss on the forehead, I closed my eyes and felt his warm lips.

"I may not be here but I will always watch and guide you. I love you so much, My Love. Goodbye."

I opened my eyes and he disappeared. I looked at the sky once again and smiled.

"Until we meet again. I love you."
