━━━━━ THE BEAT VIBRATED OFF THE WALLS
as you entered through the front doors; the crowd was out in force and ready to party as if tonight was the last night of their lives.

Although you didn't appear like the type; Parties made your synapses jump like beans in a tin. You couldn't be more alive if you were shouting from a mountaintop. The music was a drug that brought you higher and higher until your mind buzzed with pure joy. You felt as though your soul would shine so bright your skin would start to glow, like your fluorescent aura would become visible. But the night was so young, your limbs had so much energy you could dance for millennia and then some more.

You were like a puppet upon strings and the music was the puppet master, controlling your every step and move. It sparked a new feeling of euphoria within you, allowing the confidence you normally tried to suppress, to run freely with each step you took.

Your volumised hair bounced against your cheeks with each step as your eyes glanced around the room with uncertainty. Long eyelashes fluttered gently at the intrusive neon lights flashing across the room.

The drinks were flowing across the tables just as fast as the people could make them, conversations were loud and patriots were struggling to hear over the thumping music whiles the main floor was filled with sweaty bodies swaying to the beat.

The neon lighting that engulfed the venue, added a sense of spice as Justin Beiber's 'Company' played in the background.

Your eyes glanced around, scanning the already packed venue for the ravenette at the entrance just as he'd mentioned during your previous calls. Though they came to a halt when they locked on a familiar figure standing in the corner talking to an unidentifiable redhead, whiles taking subtle sips out of a red solo cup.

Starting from the cup your eyes trailed up the males' arms, taking note of the tattoos laced upon it, each with a new design withholding different stories. The tattoos abruptly stopped and they began hiding behind a white cloth.

Keeping the top buttons undone, The male wore a tightly fitted white Oxford-style shirt that delineated every curve and detail in his biceps. The shirt seemed to be long-sleeved however he kept the sleeves folded up to remain beyond his sculpted elbows. With the Oxford Shirt, the figure also wore black chinos trousers that complimented the subtle look of the shirt. To finish the outfit off, he wore Air Jordans 1's making you chuckle under your breath.

His ears consisted of different piercings. On his right was a medium-sized black lobe piercing whereas on his left he held three gold orbital piercings layered upon each other. Your eyes crawled up towards his hair. The sides and back of his hair were disconnected from the hair on top. Leaving very short hair on the sides and back with little to no taper and much more length on top. The angles sharp, lines clean, and volume at its maximum. An undercut.

Finally, you landed on his face, noticing how his black orbs were already locked onto yours.

A smug grin slowly grew on the male's face, as he whispered something to the male he was speaking to before slowly strolling towards you. "You made it!" He widened his arms, signalling for a hug before picking you up into a warm embrace which you hastily returned.

Releasing a breathy laugh, you inhaled the neighbourly scent of cinnamon spice that radiated off his skin only making your smile deepen, it reminded you of when you were kids.

Snapping yourself out of your trance, you shook your head which his chin rested upon, "Of course I did Daisuke, I'd be a bitch to miss my best friend's birthday."
