I'm not your enemy. (Sonic x Reader)

Sonic POV
"It's y/n!" She yelled and ran off. 'She said she would never save me, and now she does? I really need to figure her out. Maybe there is something around this place that might give me clues.' I ran around her house to look for clues. 'A folder? What's in here??'

Project 835 "The fastest thing alive"
-Super Speed was successful and works very well.
-Connection with Chaos emeralds was a fail and didn't happen.
-Immortality? We aren't sure. Project 835 escaped before we could run any tests.

Project 835 was a very fast kid who went by Y/N she was in a family of 3 and a only child. She was a A/S and had F/C fur. A picture of project 835 is down below.

"Oh my god... Is this what happened?" I looked at the paper a little longer until I heard a loud whoosh from behind me.

"Sonic. Where did you find that?" She was stuttering and shaking a little, she looked like she was about to burst in tears.

"Y/n, when did this happen?"

"8 years ago, when I was 7." She started crying. I didn't know what to do but I came closer to her and hugged her. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you then, but I can save you from eggman and Dr. Starline now." I said in a soothing voice.

Y/n POV

His voice was so soothing, I wanted to fall asleep in his arms. But that would make me weak and.. vulnerable to my enemy. I can't even tell if he's my enemy anymore, not after what he just said about saving me. I felt so comfortable and so safe in his arms. I don't think I want to let go from him.

After some time he slowly pulled away, making me whine quietly, but loud enough he could hear it. "I'm sorry Sonic, I shouldn't ever have blamed this on you." Sonic gave me a reassuring look. "I forgive you y/n, you were just traumatized." I smiled, I actually smiled for the first time in 8 years.

"Okay, about eggman. I found his lair and heard him talking but there was more than one voice in there. There was many.. many voices. I came a little closer to his base and there was mobians locked in cages that seemed to drain their power based on the way they looked.. and even Shadow was in there." Sonic looked at me, jaw dropped. "Shadow?! Getting captured by Eggman? Whatever this plan is, it's working very well." I gave him a small nod. "Cmon, let's go find some more clues around the city for now."

We ran around the city trying to stay undercover as long as we can. We came upon a forest and saw 6 large robots with some sort of gas surrounding them. It wasn't sleeping gas though, it was something stronger. I just couldn't put my finger on it. "Y/n! That's poisonous gas!"

'Shit, poisonous? This is going to be very difficult.' "Sonic, we need to go. I can't let you inhale any of it in."

Sonic smirked and looked at me. "So you do care about me huh?~" I tensed up and blushed. "You little-" before I could finish that sentence a bot was looking straight at us. "Shit, shit, shit. Come on Sonic we need to go back!"

Before I could step Sonic grabbed me and carried me bride style back to my base.
I blushed, "Sonic! What the hell was that!?" He only gave me a small smirk and look away. I snarled at him and ran off into my room and slowly dozed off into sleep.
