There was nothing more peaceful than watching the horror movie you were watching with the moonlight shining through the window and the rain falling from the sky. It wasn't particularly scary, but it was fun to laugh at the people acting stupid.
"What the hell were you doing standing there for 30 minutes and letting the killer get so close to you before running dumbass?" I mumbled. It's always that part that's funny and frustrates me as well. In reaching for the popcorn bowl, my hand met the bottom of the bowl. "Empty," I thought as I grabbed the remote to pause the movie.

As the popcorn pops, I leap to the sound of my phone ringing. Unknown caller, it read "Probably a scam caller" I mumbled as I reached for my phone.

I bit my lip a bit nervous as my phone rang again, 'The hell another unknown caller' I soon realized it might be Gwen or Courtney trying to prank me, if that's the case I'll be one step ahead. I answered the phone quickly saying, "Hello women are lovely all the time, how may I help you?" In anticipation of hearing a giggle, I was met instead with a deep and sinister voice.

"I'll get closer if you don't check your room" The voice said before it ended the call.

My first thought was 'This is stupid, I'm either going to die or find Gwen and Courtney giggling' as I quickly swung the door open 'Nothing?' as I felt hands behind me "Gotcha" It was the same voice from the phone.

After being spun around by whoever was speaking, I seen my boyfriend Mal.

"You're such an idiot this wasn't funny!" I scolded as he chuckled "Sorry sweetheart but your face was priceless" He laughed out as a smile made it's way onto my face "Idiot" I mumbled
